I can't believe it. An import car motor sport DVD that's really about import car motor sports. I've seen other DVDs on drifting and import car racing, but they're more into "T&A" than the actual sport. Pure Drifting is like a real "TV" documentary that really tells all about the American drifting scene. The whole thing is great. The drifting shots, the interviews with drivers, everything is really well done.
This isn't a wannabe Fast & Furious/Girls Gone Wild thing, so if that's what you're looking for, this probably isn't for you. BUT, if you're really interested in drifting and what it's all about, this is it. Pure Drifting is great.

if you wanna drift or you already do, then you must buy this DVD!!!!!All this is, is a documentary on the newest motorsport called drifting, drifting is not just sliding,it is a very entertaining motorsport to watch. I'd say this DVD is really timeless. Its not a video magazine like so many other car dvds i've seen. This is a real documentary and tells the whole story on drifting all the way from Japan to the USA. pretty cool stuff. The whole show is very high quality and polished. the graphics are sweet! where's the next one?

Looking for a comprehensive intro to the sport of Drifting? This DVD has great racing scenes interspersed with driver interviews, info on the cars they drive, and a smattering of the history of the sport.

A word of caution: this DVD will make you want to buy a 1980's Corolla, soup the thing up like nobody's business, and start driving like a wild thing.

I really enjoyed this DVD. I had seen stories about Drifting on the news and was very curious about it.

It worked for me because it told the story of the Sport from it's very beginning. There is a lot of story to tell and it tells the story well.

Good mix of interviews and cars on the track.

This was awesome! The interviews are interesting and entertaining, the shots of drifting are cool, and there's even a section on the mechanics of converting a car to drift-ready. I love that they interviewed grrrl drifters too. This is a slick documentary, much better graphics and sound than a lot of other autosport DVD's out there. You can see why drifting will be the next hottest thing in the US. Anyone who wants to know what it's all about should watch this. I hope they do another one!

I was pretty disappointed with this DVD. All it tells you is HOW to get into drifting. I just want to see some cool drifting clips, not be told every little thing that I have to do to be involved with it. If there were less interviews and more drifting clips, it'd be alright, but I bought this particular DVD because of all the good reviews that it had here on Amazon, but once I watched it, I knew I had been let down. After the fact, I have been told to stick with any "Best Motoring" DVD when it comes to drifting. Just thought I'd pass on the message.

I am a big fan of Drifting and have many videos on Drifting.
But this one is by far the best! When I try and explain to people what Drifting is, i just play the dvd and tell them
"see for yourself!!" great job Pure Drifting. Can't wait to see your next dvd!!!
