I called Simon-Schuster, the publisher today (4/24/2001) 1:45pm Pacific Time. Today is Tuesday. Anyways I called the publisher and they announced the new book known as 'Your Driving Force' by Anthony Robbins, Has been cancelled! That they will not be publishing the book at this time!This book might never be published! At least his other books are still popular!

I had a chance to talk with Tony & his new finacee about his new book at one of his live seminars (UPW Pasadena May2000) he is definately working on it and re-written large sections from the orginal draft, because of some of the discoveries and events in his own life (changing his own "model of the world" recent divorce and engagement, etc)

he did admit that his other books were basically dictations (he spoke, got in state, people typed and tried to keep up) whereas in this one he's really thinking about what he writes

the final title has not been finalized but the working title is "drive force, the physcology of the 6 human needs"

I think this is really going to be his best book yet, and if you get a chance checkout his new audio series "get the edge" alot better then personal Power II.

In many ways I would like to think of Tony Robbins as a friend. And I am also waiting on him for some time now. I ordered this title in October of 1999.

I have high hopes that this book, once published, will rate five stars in my opinion.

I have enjoyed Awaken The Giant Within and Notes From a Friend as well as Tony's Personal Power II and Getting the Edge CD's.

When/If the book is published I hope to return with an actual review. Until then perhaps Tony you will read this review and drop off an invitation to your little place in Fiji? Kava Kava!

Amazon, being its professional self, has clearly listed this title as becoming available in February 2000. What's your point?

Anthony Robbins always delivers. His message is powerful and helpful, I can not imagine anyone not benefiting from his work. Another book I really enjoyed was "Life and Death on the Internet" by Keith A. Schroeder. Both books combined allow you to manage and handle our break-necked speed internet connected world.

I AGREE WITH THE PRIOR REVIEWER WHO STATED THE BOOK IS VERY LATE BEING PUBLISHED. DELAY AFTER DELAY. I HAVE TO ADMIT THOUGH WHEN IT FINALLY DOES COME OUT WE WILL PROBABLY APPLAUD ANTHONY ROBBINS KEEN INSIGHT

It seems that Robbins has gone down hill over the years. He wrote his first book day and nite to get it out in time. This book has been put off one year after another. It was first scheduled to come out in 1998, then 1999, now 2000. Is something very wrong with this book? It seems that the man of life mastery has fallen into the depths of Procrastination!

how can this book be available threw you, when it is not yet published by simon & Schuster..The pojected date of publication threw them is 2/00..so how can you sell these books when technically they are not availavble..isbn# 0684809028..titled the driving force

This is a "How To" book. It should be titled How to fail as an author. Yes, I am slightly upset that Anthony Robbins, a self-proclaimed motivational "expert" is so lackadaisical about his own image, when it comes to delivering the product. I, for one, boycott your future products. Thanks for nothing.

I'm sorry to say, this is a sad representation on your part Tony. The release date for this book has been bumped again and again for a long time now, with no book in sight. For such a well-liked motivational speaker, you leave a lot to be desired. Oh well, you've made your money--right? Like all of you other reviewers of make believe books, I agree, this is Robbins best to date. It's just too bad that such a great motivator of others can't get off his but, quit shoulding over himself, and write his book. A great many fans are becoming disappointed. Come on Tony, you can do it. Write, edit, and publish your book. I, for one, hope you're ashamed of yourself. But, as I stated earlier, You've made your money, so piss on your followers. I really do hope you read this review Tony. I'm sure I'm not your only reader/listener/watcher disappointed in your performance. Prove me wrong. Send me anger mail--whatever. Just write your book!
