An excellent book that shows step by Biblical step the process of how to be set free from the addiction of pornography and masturbation. The three "R's" of Radical Amputation, Radical Appropriation, and Radical Accountability has lead thousands of men and woman to freedom and Purity in their lives.This is the course and this is the information that broke the chains of addiction in my life and allows me to walk in purity and freedom from addiction to pornography today. Having been raised in the church, the lessons in this book mostly hit parts of the Bible I knew, but then applied them to my life in practical ways. What is going on in this book (or at their web site at www.settingcaptivesfree.com) is not rocket science (no offense Mike and staff), it is application of the oldest and best documented power on the face of planet Earth: the Word and Spirit of God. That points out my problem very clearly: I knew the truth and hadn't applied it, hadn't depended on it for my very life and breath. When I did, God kept His word,
"Come now and let us reason together, says the Lord, though your sins are scarlet red, they shall be white as snow, though they are as red as crimson, they shall be like wool." Isaiah 1:18
"God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the Devil and he will flee from you. Draw near to God and He will draw near to you." James 4:6b-8a

The hardest lesson for me was "Drag It Into The Light". My church friend cornered me on this. We were discussing my lesson around day 40. It came out that I had not told my wife everything. I was afraid. I explained, I rationalized, I stalled, I complained (and he prayed). When I finally told my wife everything, she was so supportive!

Here I am, 59 lessons later, 100% porn free. What a lightness has returned to my heart! I enjoy my Bible study! I can see
God changing me. He's given me freedom to talk to other men about the reality of freedom from habitual sin. He has given me opportunities to speak to some unsaved friends about the Gospel. It can be done because God is very gracious. I had the benefit of two Accountability Partners (AP's): my church friend and Jeremy from SCF. I recommend having an AP who you see regularly in addition to your online one.

The book, a hard copy of the course, is grounded in Christ and puts Him and your addiction front and center. Not a impersonal method to change your behaviour, but an interpersonal change of one's heart. Break the addiction to pornography and find a new love... God and His Word!

I am so thankful for this books impact on mylife. This is no self help book! This is a book that will teach you how to allow God to help you. The differance is so vital. I couldn't change myself but God could and DID! This book changed my perspective on sin, and the way out of it. God wants to change you into a person that is free from Porn! GET THIS BOOK!!!!

This book broke my 20 year addiction to pornography, and has renewed my marriage, my family, and my walk with God. The principles in this book can break the secret addiction that has ruined so many lives. Reading and studying this book will show you how to be free forever from Satan's trap!

The teachings in this book really worked for me. It can lead anyone into true freedom no matter how long you've been in bondage. I tried and tried for many years to be free but nothing worked. The reason? I was doing it on my own strength instead of on the strength of Christ. It is only through Christ Jesus and His Living Water that one can be truly satisfied. This book will teach you how to drink that water. I highly recommend it for anyone in any sexual bondage. It led me out of an 18 year bondage. Free at last!! Praise God I am free at last!!

This book is a 60-day biblical course with testimonies and accountability questions. The daily lessons are drawn straight from God's word and provide living water for the soul that is struggling with sexual sins. This course helped me get free and now I'm mentoring others. I praise God for it and I highly recommend it to others.

I took the 60 day online version of this booklet and it has been extremely helpful. I had been fighting sexual addiction for quite some time in my Christian walk, and had never gained a lasting freedrom from the bondage pornography was holding me in - 10+ years.

There are many great, practical truths in these lessons. It's scripturally focused, and Jesus-centered. It has helped me regain my focus on the cross, my bible study and prayer life. God has completely changed my life through this. This course is bringing much glory to God, and I hope many other people can find freedom in Christ through this ministry.

Praise God for the freedom from porn given by his grace. This material is the best i've seen. It points you directly to Christ, and shows you practical steps for appropriating God's grace in your life to gain pure freedom from this sin that so easily entangles.

God is the one who must make you free from impurity. God uses tools to accomplish his work. I highly recommend to you the Pure Freedom course. It is the tool that God has used most in helping me find freedom.
