Great read, June 11, 2003

This review is from: The Pure Investor (Paperback)
A good, easy read & well-written. It's short and to the point but doesn't skimp on detail and support. It takes a different, more interesting approach than most investment books I've read.

Surprisingly Good Read., November 26, 2004
This review is from: The Pure Investor (Paperback)
At about 130 pages, "The Pure Investor" is a fast read, which belies the amount of information that the book contains, and the number of levels on which it works.
Written in a refreshing manner, partially as a tale about "The Pure Investor", a man whose mind and soul are focused on the art of investment, it's a much better read than the dry books that are out there, even though it contains just as much or more information about the topic of investment.
On the "pure investment" level, it covers a wide range of information- as is reflected by the table of contents. It doesn't just cover the personal-level of investment ideas, like a how-to book or a investment self-help book. It covers governmental ideas as well.
Which leads me to the next level: Political. Liberals will read this book grinding their teeth, and Conservatives will read it smiling and nodding. Whatever your political bent, though, it's a valuable read, as it offers liberals insight into the oft-elusive mindset of the Conservative Investor. And offers Conservatives a really good read and valuable insight reflective of Conservative fiscal beliefs.
