On November 3, 2009, John of Portland, Oregon, wrote "Don't waste your time" and gave this product a single star. He has my sympathy for the arthritis that he suffers, but not my agreement with his opinion about this miracle supplement. I returned from military service in Vietnam in 1970 with several chronic and some acute health problems. Nothing that the VA has ever done for me to address these health problems has ever worked, although I do give them credit for trying. Over the years I have thrown away thousands and thousands of dollars on just about every kind of treatment imaginable to regain my health. Nothing worked or if it did, not for very long. Earlier this year I learned about how absolutely essential sulpher is for human health on a website called the Human Body Project. This rather startled me because of the many, many times that physicians have told and warned me that too much sulpher is extremely dangerous to the liver and kidneys, so you can bet that I stayed clear of ever using any kind of sulpher except when absolutely necessary. Well, folks that is true, but it is only half of the story from half-educated doctors. The half of the story that is true is that INORGANIC SULPHER (the kind used in common prescriptions to kill fungus and other related parasites) is dangerous and its oral intake must be limited ad controlled. So I never learned about the other half of the story that Paul Harvey might have told me. Then I came upon this book from Amazon The MSM Miracle and ordered it. Wow, did I get a badly needed education! I wasn't even finished reading the book before I ordered my first bottle of Trimedica MSM (MSM is an abbreviation for Methylsulfonylmethane, which is ORGANIC ORGANIC ORGANIC ORGANIC, I say again, ORGANIC SULPHER). It is the only kind of sulpher that the human body can use COMPLETELY SAFELY and it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY for COMPLETE BODY HEALTH. Without sulpher human health is in jeopardy. Now to be honest I have to say that when I first started taking Trimedica MSM (since there is no limit to how much MSM one can take safely, I started wth 12 each 1000mg tablets per day) I immediately began feeling changes in my body, but not the kind I was hoping for. But now, several months later I can honestly say that ALL of my health problems that I came home from Vietnam with are disappearing and a couple have vanished completely, but along with MSM I am also taking liberal amount of VSL DS probiotic** and Acai Berry Juice Acai 100 By Genesis Today - BUY 6, Get 1 FREE (See Below). These three essential supplements are giving me new life and I sincerely believe that even if one was missing the other two would not work well. So my recommendation is that is you have health problems that your physician has been unable to help you solve, buy the book I mentioned above, buy the MSM, buy the Acai Berry juice and get a script from your physician for the VSL DS probiotic (it is available only by prescription). Lastly, I would like to suggest to John of Oregon that maybe he should try the MSM again, but this time give take more of it (lots more of it daily) and give it several months to reach cellular therapeutic level in his body as I believe that nothing works well until a bad deficiency is turned into a good efficiency. MSM is in my mind a MIRACLE, but miracles require time and not abrakadabra magic.

I got this from a health food store because it was on clearance and now I know why. Not only does it not work on arthritis (which is what the company supposedly sells it for) when I called the company they were very rude! I asked where the MSM comes from and they said China, which is the opposite of what their own sales literature says! What a sham!
