Pure Nude Yoga- Worship the Sun

Very disappointed. Thought it would be about Yoga. No how to at all. Naked girl doesn't speak at all. Just a few movements on her part, surrounded by empty junk. Other reviews were staged. It's probably not what you think it is. Can't imagine why anyone would rent it.

The overall production of this video is completely amateur. They used a cheap camera and the camera work is poor. It looks to me like some people who like yoga got together with a home video camera and shot this video and then edited it in Microsoft Movie Maker. Not professional at all. The yoga is ok, but no explanation or teaching happening, just a naked girl doing yoga. Tasteful as it may be, it does not celebrate the human body, or yoga. Totally lame.

I'm the only person I know who has a yoga-related injury - a knee weakened by having to sit on my heels for an hour every morning and evening for the few months I was enrolled at a yoga-schram. Eventually I had to have arthroscopic surgery to trim my torn meniscus, and this experience turned me off yoga.
My interest in these videos is therefore entirely aesthetic and erotic, and it's a toss-up as to which of the two young yoginis is more lovely. The blonde in the first video is very young - possibly still in her late teens - and she smiles joyously. The brunette is a bit older - mid-twenties I'd guess. Her smile seems forced and she does not appear to have emptied her mind as completely as the blonde. Neither woman seems uncomfortable at being mother-naked, and both have taken pains to look their best, with painted nails, shaved armpits and carefully trimmed (or waxed?) body hair, umbilical piercings, and tasteful abstract tattoos.
The main difference between the two videos is in the explicitness of the camera-work. The first video, with the blonde, is so discrete that students of yoga could find themselves handicapped, and for the voyeurs among us this hiatus is frustrating. The second video abandoned this caution, leading to a franker exposure of the brunette, whom we get in full-frontal camera angles, with no attempt to hide or avoid what the French call "la chatte." Such directness helps us see her as a whole human being. This seems to me a healthy attitude, and one in keeping with the philosophy of yoga, which sees sex as nothing to be ashamed of.
There is a Hindu holy book, the KAMA SUTRA, that is a how-to guide to yogic lovemaking. It would be fascinating to watch a video of a couple practicing yogic sex. One particularly fascinating practice - which I would love to see - is the male yogi's reputed ability to reclaim his seed by reversing the process by which it was expelled. I wonder if this seeming physiological impossibility can actually happen. Does anyone know whether a video of a yogi and yogini making love is available, and if so, where?

This is a very beautiful video, the woman doing the poses is amazingly beautiful she not only shows the beauty of the human body with out any sexual implications she displays the yoga poses very well. The scenery is also beautiful as is the minimal special effects used from changing from one pose to the next. It is a first class production all the way, great job

Simply gorgeous footage. Very professionally shot. Lots of slo-mo, dissolves, beautiful yoga poses. Hypnotic soundtrack. Overall production quality is very tasteful and well done. I don't know about anyone else's computer but my downloaded version looked clean and crisp. And I could watch the yoga model all day long. She's a beauty and clearly knows what she's doing. It's cool how they included relaxing scenery in between poses. Very chill. Definitely not your typical yoga video- ie. no "breathe in breathe out" drivel while the instructor tells you to do the downward dog- and not the usual "yoga for dummies" yawn. Instead, it has a hot "Andrew Blake" soft porn meets yoga look going for it. For that reason, I have to give it a thumbs up...a cut above the usual yoga videos in quality and concept. Highly recommended.

The only good part of this entire movie was the model seemed happy. Besides that the photography was so horrible that it was like watching a silhouette with the bright background. The location was so cramped it was obviously difficult on the cameraman. The motions were cramped I'm assuming because of the location. Watching this video was like watching a 1970's documentary. I wish I had not spent a dime on this.

Don't bother with this one. As others have noted, the video quality is quite poor. What bothered me even more is that the yoga is not very good. There is something remarkably beautiful about the strength and grace of the human form that has been shaped and refined through the practice of yoga, but this is not it. You can tell by the model's body and by the misalignment in her yoga postures that she has not been practicing yoga very long. Her yoga form is advanced-beginner at best. Nothing wrong with being an advanced beginner -- we all have to start somewhere -- but it is definitely not something to make a video about and charge money for. For what it's worth, the producer has a similar video entitled Zen Garden Goddess which is much better done. You can tell the model in that one is a yoga practitioner, both in terms of the tone in her body and the alignment of her postures. Strange that the same video company would produce two videos of such disparate quality. Wish there was a way to get a refund on this one.

I downloaded this and was so pleasantly surprised by how good it was I bought the DVD for a friend as well. The visuals and music are lush, sumptuous' and sensual. I practice yoga along with the video, but also sometimes just play it for a pleasant and relaxing ambiance. Amazing production values - I wish there was more stuff like this available.

The problem with these Amazon reviews is that anyone with a keyboard thinks he/she is a published critic. Unfortunately, no one reviews the reviewers. Sadly, many "writers" here seem unable to grasp even the most basic grammar and spelling skills, and have trouble stringing together an entire sentence. And, if a basis of criticism draws upon a body of work that includes videos like "Fear Girls #1" (as one of the reviewers here) or other misogynist tripe, then it's one more compelling reason to ignore anything else they have to contribute.
Based on the fact there are more positive reviews for this title, (and far more people who enjoyed it) I decided to try it out. Honestly, for less money than a cappuccino, it wasn't much of a gamble.
And after watching it, I found that Pure Nude Yoga was thoroughly worthwhile and enjoyable. The setting was beautiful, and the yoga model was the kind of nubile blonde that every red blooded male dreams about. No clothes. Just a tight 20 year old hard body competently moving through a set of yoga poses. What is not to like? A hot young yoga diva working her way through various positions in the nude. Extreme lingering close ups. Professional production values throughout. The editing pace was relaxing, and I appreciated the occasional ocean scenery that gave a natural break between poses. I even enjoyed watching it from the sofa while in the savasana pose.
I noticed one person complained about lack of voice over instruction. But that's what I liked best about the DVD. Finally, a yoga video without an interminable narration voice telling me I'm not breathing deep enough, or imparting some sanctimonious religious mumbo jumbo. Just soothing music and the nature sounds. Simple. Relaxing.

Unless you find the female form offensive, or are looking for something like "Fear Girls #1 (I won`t mention any other reviewers here) you're probably going to like this video. Pure Nude Yoga was well produced and a refreshing change from the usual instructional yoga monotony. And to the producers of this video, I`ll only give you five stars if there`s a follow up video using the same hot blonde yoga model again. Take note.

Finally, a nude yoga DVD that gets it right- a perfectly sweet looking blonde yogini who really knows her yoga. She is awesome... I usually watch it in the morning to get me up and stretching. I like the way she starts out with some sun salutations, with just the right pacing to make it easy to follow along. And then her poses get progressively more advanced. The nudity is tasteful and inspiring. And hot. I love it.

Even my picky roommate who has been doing yoga for years likes it, and uses it to relax. The scenery is gorgeous- an ocean setting and a sunny shoreline backdrop. And none of that hokey yoga instructional narration stuff telling you to breathe etc... Just some hip music, and some soothing wave sounds. The production quality is very high quality, and well made. I've been waiting for a yoga video like this- finally a natural and naked beauty, who is also good at yoga.
