If you're looking for a protein bar, not a fat bar or a carb bar, this is the best I've found. The nutritional specs are great, 20g protein, 200 calories, about 15 carbs, and the fat is minimal 5g total, 3g saturated. This is about the best protein to calorie and fat ratio you can find in a protein bar. In addition They taste fairly good, not amazing but it's a protein bar so you can't exactly expect a nature valley peanut butter in terms of taste.
I just changed my subscribe and save to 4 double packages a month, great way to fit in small meals throughout the day. One slight problem is that they can give digestion isssues due to the sugar alcohols, so if your sensitive to sugar alcohols see how they affect you before buying a lot.

So many "protein bars" such as Clif Builder and Powerbar are loaded with sugars. That makes them taste like candy bars, because they ARE candy bars with some added protein. The only time you should eat something like that is after or during exercise. I love to eat them when I am hiking or if I am doing a workout someplace I don't have my usual recovery drink handy. They are not a "snack" because they are loaded with simple carbs that will end up on your waistline, if they aren't needed for energy or refueling exhausted muscles. I am looking at a Clif Builder right now, and it has 20g of sugars.
These bars consist of protein and sugar alcohols, which have less calories than sugar and tend to pass through your body unabsorbed. That's good news if you are restricting your carb intake for whatever reason. They are a handy way to get 20g of protein into your body without a lot of fuss. I eat one a day and I haven't had any digestive issues. They don't taste as good as the sugar-loaded bars, but they're not so nasty that I hate eating them. I am kind of neutral about them. They are just a way to get protein easily. They are very chewy and sticky and you need water to get them down the hatch.
The same company also makes cans of low-carb protein drink, with 35g of protein. If I absolutely don't have time to make breakfast, I just chug one down in the morning.

I thought this one was decent but decent was not enough to keep my subscription. It leaves a weird aftertaste in your mouth that you dont' get with the chocolate peanut butter version. My advice is to go for that one.
