Ir really works,

This review is from: PureAyre Pet Odor Eliminator Kit (Health and Beauty)
I bought this product to use on my brand new carpet that our puppy had an accident on. It worked wonderfully. I have used tons of other products and they just hide the smell and it comes back. This product works differently. Yes, it is more expensive but it sure beats having to buy multiple products and having a chemical cocktail on the floor. It has so many other uses so I will definitely keep this on hand at all times. must have for homes with children and pets.

Not helpful,
This review is from: PureAyre Pet Odor Eliminator Kit (Health and Beauty)
I recently moved into a new apartment and my cat responded to the stress by urinating all over the corner of my living room, including the side of my couch. I tried several treatments of this product on that spot, and even resorted to dumping the whole gallon into the corner. The only thing that happened was my whole apartment smelled like minty cat pee. I don't know if this product might be more useful in smaller accidents, but it certainly did nothing for my problem. I found that using vinegar followed by A LOT of hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and a few drops of dish soap does a fantastic job. This still took a few treatments and a week worth of re-soaking the carpet, but every time I did it I could tell the smell was lessening. The smell is finally gone after all of that work - it is easy to find others online who had the same success with cheap household products. You don't have to waste your money!

PureAyre is just food-grade hydrogen peroxide with vinegar. Don't believe the hype.,

The PureAyre formula is a mix of vinegar and food-grade hydrogen peroxide. He added minty botanicals for the slight fragrance. Spread the word.
The reason he can spray it into his mouth and body is because he is using food-grade hydrogen peroxide that is heavily diluted. This is not an assumption, this is fact. I know the formula. You can achieve the same effects by using Hydrogen Peroxide to break up the molecules and remove the odors.

This pet odor eliminator kit has a good scent. No more doggy odor. Dogs will return to the spot as it only eliminates the odor. Weird syringe for furniture freshening.

Minty Cat Urine,

I should have known better than to believe the hype that this product eliminates cat urine and skunk odors. I applied the product as directed, immediately pleased with the minty smell from the bottle and patiently waited (days) for the orignal odor to be gone. It never worked! Now I have an area only soiled once that smells like minty cat urine and is more pungant than prior to applying the odor eliminator.
Don't buy this product or others like it! The best solution, although not perfect, I have ever found is just some good old fashioned mild soap, a wet vac, lots of patience and a thorough cleaning. The trick is to allow the item to get thoroughly soaked but only briefly (3-10 sec), quick aggitation of the fabric, carpet fibers, etc and extract ALL the liquids you can immediately after applying the solution with a wet vac. A basic rinse and repeat method we've been applying to our laundry for years and it works 100x better than this product which is the first I've ever tried that actually left the odor smelling worse than if I'd done nothing at all!

I bought this product after seeing it advertised on the show "shark tank." The product does work, however, the results are temporary. I have an area that I have tried desperately to remove cat urine odor. I have used multiple treatments of Anti icky poo and this was another hopeful find. I did try injecting the product as well into the carpet but the odor came back. I have used this product for other daily common household odors and it does work well. Good product, but certainly not for tough horrible cat urine odor. Would purchase again for general household use.

I was amazed at how well this priduct works. I sprayed an area that I had fish wrappers and no more smell. I also sprayed where our dog relaxes and the doggie odor was gone. Bravo.

I've used so many different products to get rid of cat pee smells. None of them permanently removed the stink. The urine smell would come back after the product was dry, and the cats would go right back and pee in the same areas, despite how many cat boxes I have, or how clean they were. Sometimes, the smell of the products I tried were also terrible. I stopped having company over because of the awful odor in my house.
Finally, this year, I decided to remodel many parts of my house. First I moved myself and the cats out of the house. Next, I had ALL the carpet and carpet pad torn out and disposed of. I also had the subfloors, the drywall, and the insulation underneath the walls and the floors torn out in the areas where the cats repeatedly had been urinating. I then treated everything I could see with PureAyre Pet odor eliminator twice, just to be sure. After that dried, I painted everything I could see with Kilz stain and odor blocker. Then I had all the areas rebuilt and painted. Instead of carpet, I put down hard wood floors this time. So far, I've caught one cat peeing again in my dining room and in a closet. I cleaned those areas and treated them immediately with the PureAyre and she hasn't gone back since. That was 2 months ago now. There are no lingering odors anywhere. This stuff really worked great. |
