This stuff really and truly works. It reduces germs, and the addition of the aloe does make my hands feel less dry.,

I'm terminally ill, with a severely compromised immune system. I was getting colds from people out in public and keeping them for 6 weeks! My doctors recommended keeping this in every room, in my backpack, in the car, and carrying some everywhere I went. And then, to use it constantly. My rate of new infection fell by 30% almost instantly, because this stuff kills most germs. 99.9% of them I believe. (Just checked, it's actually 99.99%.) And it is advertised that it leaves behind no sticky residue, and that also is true. My hands always feel refreshed right after using this, and it has a nice clean, fresh smell to it as well.
Bottom line folks, this stuff does as it is advertised to do. It kills germs, keeps hands clean, and dries in seconds with no residue left behind. I now buy this item in bulk, from this very link, because I have to use it so much. I can honestly say that if I run out without reordering it, I will get sick or some form of infection again within days, because of my immune system. So if this stuff can help me, in that severe of a case, then imagine how much good it does the average every day family when it comes to staying healthy? Thanks for your time folks. Sincerely, R.A. McDowell

After coming down with a bad flu bug one year, I decided I needed to make a change. I didn't ever want to be that sick again! Now I can't go anywhere without hand sanitizer! I keep a bottle in my car, my purse (travel size version), and one at my desk. Think of everything you touch in a day...a pen someone else has used, the keypad at the grocery store, shopping cart handles, atm buttons, money, door knobs, etc. Germs are EVERYWHERE!I work in an office in which the same papers and files are handled by almost everyone so when someone gets sick, it spreads pretty quickly. I keep Purell at my desk and have developed a habit of putting it on every time I return to my desk, especially if I've touched the copier (which everyone in the office has touched!). Also, if I have to sit at another desk and use another person's phone, I clean their phone off with a tissue and this stuff! Works great! You can't avoid illness all the time but I can say that I've avoided some pretty nasty bugs going around since I started using this religiously. Also, the smell doesn't bother me as much as some other hand sanitizers do, especially ones that have strong fragrances. And I like the aloe in it. Apparently many other people like this brand too, as I can never find it on the shelves anymore. There seems to be a Purell shortage going on which is why I had to buy it here on Amazon. (And I've looked everywhere!) Either they're all out, or the stores keep trying to push their own brands of hand sanitizer, but I don't want their brand! I want my Purell! One additional note...the last time I purchased this, they were NOT pump bottles. They were just regular bottles. (EDIT: I just recently purchased this again in Feb 2012 and they WERE the pump bottles this time. Maybe they just ran out of the pump bottles the last time.) But this was really no big deal for me since I already had a pump bottle. I just use these for refills anyway. Just fyi so you won't be surprised.

I like regular Purell better, I don't know what it is about this Aloe kind, but it makes my hands sticky and dry, regular Purell doesn't do this to me.
