4.0 out of 5 stars Pureology is awesome, but Nanoworks not worth the price
I love Pureology shampoos/conditioners. I've used all the different types over the years (Hydrate, Volumize, etc.)..but never wanted to splurge on the Nanoworks until now. The shampoo is good; however, I had to use lots of the conditioner, and my hair is baby fine. I ended up using up all the conditioner months before I ran out of the shampoo. I didn't find the...

1.0 out of 5 stars They water it down now!
I am one of the faithful die hard users of what used to be a fabulous product, but as the other reviewer wrote, they have been bought out (Pureology has been bought by L'Oreal) and the conditioner is now definetly watered down. This review is from: Pureology Nanoworks Shampoo & Conditioner Liter, 33.8 oz. each, Free Pumps (Health and Beauty)
I am one of the faithful die hard users of what used to be a fabulous product, but as the other reviewer wrote, they have been bought out (Pureology has been bought by L'Oreal) and the conditioner is now definetly watered down. I have been buying the Liter size bottles here at Amazon for over 3 years, and when I used to pump the conditioner out it was a a very firm pump and the product was thick and rich. Now the pump down it spurts out the watered down version and my hair is dry and not at all supple the way it used to be. Looking for a new product.... Sadley, this is definetly not worth over $100 plus shipping anymore.

2.0 out of 5 stars not as good as it was last tiem., March 9, 2009
This review is from: Pureology Nanoworks Shampoo & Conditioner Liter, 33.8 oz. each, Free Pumps (Health and Beauty)
I have used this shampoo and conditioner for years. I heard it had sold to another company. I bought more after running low and when I got it I wasnt to happy. I was always able to use one or two pumps and get a great later but now it's three or four. I'm using it twice as fast but the price is the same. I looked at the old bottle and found that the new compnay added water. I'm not to sure if I'll buy again. The value is no longer there.

1.0 out of 5 stars This product was an absolute FAKE - do not buy this!!!, June 6, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Pureology Nanoworks Shampoo & Conditioner Liter, 33.8 oz. each, Free Pumps (Health and Beauty)
I have used pureology for years, and know exactly how it makes my hair feel, smell and look. The shampoo, when I looked in the bottled was very dilute (almost like dish soap) and appeared to be mixed with what looked like baby shampoo! As a devout user of the Pureology brand, I know the shampoo is thick and concentrated. Within a day or two of using fake pureology, my hair started shedding pretty bad, with clumps in the shower drain. Pureology is an entirely vegan product and it has never made my hair do that before. My hair is now taking on a dry and brittle look just using this fake product for a few days instead of the shiny and healthy look that real pureology makes my hair feel and look. Now I have to wait for a refund (of $140 +) so I can go to my local beauty supply store and buy the real stuff. Seriously disappointed that I was taken advantage of.

The shampoo is good; however, I had to use lots of the conditioner, and my hair is baby fine. I ended up using up all the conditioner months before I ran out of the shampoo. I didn't find the Nanoworks to be any different quality-wise than the Hydrate or the Volumize. I wouldn't spend the money again on Nanoworks - but instead will go back to the Hydrate version.

Although I use this product and think it is great, it came spilled. I had to return spilled item since that seemed to be the only way I could get a refund. I would have prefered receiving an intact replacement, but that wasn't an option with the terms of crediting my account. I feel sorry for the people who had to open the mess. I had to purchase the item locally.

5.0 out of 5 stars Did a side by side test, November 13, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: Pureology Nanoworks Shampoo & Conditioner Liter, 33.8 oz. each, Free Pumps (Health and Beauty)
I've used this product for several years and it is the best for my highlighted hair and keeps it healthy even though I have very mineralized well water at home. I live in a small town and have paid $$$$ for this product. I was thrilled to see the large economy size on Amazon but skeptical because of the negative reviews claiming that the product was watered down. So, when I got the Amazon shipment I did a side by side comparison with my salon purchased product. NO DIFFERENCE. I will be back to save money on this product in the future.

This is the best stuff out there. Your hair feels amazing after you use it. Another plus is it kind of smells like Flex! Through Amazon it was less than half the price of the local beauty supply stores here in Las Vegas.

This shampoo and conditioner is the best product I have found for color treated hair. It extends the life of the coloring and keeps my hair in great condition. I have used other products but none can compare to Pureology! My hairdresser suggested it and I am glad I followed her lead!

I also am (probably was) a diehard user of Pureology Nano Work shampoo and conditioner, however after reading the two previous reviews regarding the sale of Purology and the new watered down version I will let everyone know once I use the product I just received. If it is anything like the previouse reviews, I to will find another product. Man, the previous product was awesome. I am sorry to hear that it has been sold to another company and is no longer the same, but watered down. Good luck to everyone in finding a product that was this great.
