If you are planning on making silly putty in your storytime or science class, this is the product you want to use. Other liquid starch products do not combine correctly with the Elmer's school glue to produce the silly putty. Be advised that most stores in our area (Pittsburgh, PA) no longer carry this brand of starch in the laundry aisle. Be advise and happy silly putty making!

I can't say enough about this liquid starch! I mix a little with water in a spray bottle and spritz my way to perfectly ironed garments every time! I have also used this in crafty ways and it was amazing. About a year ago I got a bee in bonnet about making over my pantry. Darn you Pinterest! In the late 90's and early 00's, Christopher Lowell had a show on the Discovery Channel and he demonstrated wall papering with fabric dipped in liquid starch. So that's what I did in my pantry. Let me tell you, it works like a charm!! I cut my fabric pieces to the sizes I needed then I dipped them in a bowl of liquid starch and used my fingers to squeeze out the excess. Then I used my hands and an old store discount card (really any plastic card type thing would work) to smooth it you. It's been up for almost a year and still holding strong despite the Texas humidity! People don't even realize that it's fabric until they notice the pillows and such scattered about my kitchen/dining/living rooms.

I have been using Sta-Flo for years now. I can not imagine going back to using aerosol spray for starching my jeans. The price of $5.00 is a little high but the product is amazing. I have been able to locate this product at the local Walmart for $2.97.

Liquid Starch isn't as in demand as it was in days gone by. I don't use this for clothing or ironing or anything like that. I do use this for making paper mache objects and it is terrific. You can dip strips of paper towel or cloth or newspaper in this then use it to create strong paper mache objects like pinatas or more. Just great to get it in this volume.

Loved it. Starch is very crisp and thick. Great for crafts. Can also be diluted for a softer effect. Very happy with it

I needed this to apply a fabric border to my walls over my old paper border. It worked like a charm. But this stuff is VERY hard to find. They ship it REALLY fast!

Works like a charm. I am making snowflakes out of polyester yard and it even works on that. Makes them nice and hard so they won't flop.

I'm an old-fashioned homemaker (not old, just old-fashioned), and I launder, starch, and iron my husband's shirts. To the best of my knowledge, Stay-Flo is the only laundry starch that's still available through retailers. Thank goodness for that. The price is good, and the quality can't be overstated.
