I don't write many reviews but felt compelled to write one for this product. I travel a lot to meetings and conferences and now always keep a PurifiCup with me because water from hotels and water stored in commercial flights just are not reliable in cleanliness and taste. The water filtered through this product tastes pristine, no different than buying bottled water but more convenient. Because I collaborate with a microbiology laboratory in my work in the hospital, I recently even tested the PurifiCup water (from tap water) in the lab and found it to be more efficient and clean than the Brita. It actually had lower counts than the Evian and Crystal Geyser water I tested. Again, great product, safe and highly recomended!

As product manager, I travel to China and other parts of Asia on business frequently; typically 4-5 trips a year. There were few occasions that I'd gotten sick on the trip, so I carefully choose where I get the water and food there.
I'd purchased this PurifiCup on Amazon. First impression was its simple to use, and the water tasted very good, both my wife and I thought the filtered water from this tasted better then the Pitcher filter we have in the house.
So, I brought this "cup" on my trip to Shenzhen China for a week; and gladly return home in Hawaii without once having upset stomach. I'd used it at every restaurant to run the tap water they served. Also at Hotel faucets, twice at the airport to fill my reused water bottle, which is another great design that the filter housing screws right on a regular water bottle, so I can get clean water directly into a bottle.
I highly recommend this product for anyone who travels!

Used this devise on my recent road trip. Devise was easy to assembled.
placed a water bottle below the filter, turned on the water and dip away.
