CeCe Winans has a true talent for encasing comfort in an encouraging message of hope and future dreams fulfilled. You feel that any problem you had five minutes ago has suddenly been solved, as if the world is beautiful again.

Through her wisdom you enter a deep sigh of peace and encouragement encased in soul soothing lyrics. The lyrics are also encouraging, positive and speak of a love that is unconditional, beautiful and wise.

"Somebody told me to tell you
You are loved"

Every single track on this album is perfect and soul healing. It is rare to find a relaxing spiritual escape where you love every song, but this seems to be a deeply contemplative escape where you can relax into unconditional love and also think about more than this life. CeCe's music speaks of worlds where we can escape the daily trials and feel comforted and loved.

The title seems especially appropriate because you do feel purified spiritually after listening to her music. The clarity in the music is astounding and definitely enters the category of musical perfection. "Purified" speaks of our heart's desire for peace and it is not only uplifting, it gives hope.

Cece Winans has an incredible voice. Everyone knows that but I thought I'd mention it anyway. She could sing the phone book and still make a tidy sum. Anyway, "Purified" is actually my first CeCe album. I don't know if this is her best work or what but I do know that I was glad I bought it. The songs are a nice mix of ballads and dance numbers. My favorite track is "Pray" which is the hot single that prompted to get the album in the first place. Good beat, good words, instant hit. I also liked "Mama's Kitchen", "Colorful World", "Let Everything That Have Breath", and "You Will". Some might think the song, "Sisters", is a little sappy but it's very well done and I'm still humming it and I'm a brother, ha ha. I imagine this will be used at many a family reunion down the road. Overall, this is a very strong album with good material and amazing vocals from Cece. This is worth buying.

It's exciting to know that CECE is back, (gospel's babyface), she's not just a cutie, put stamps a beauty of a voice on all of her songs. She lace every album with the stuff thats needed for GOSPEl today. Not the compromised watered down hip-hop that is flooding the gospel music arena of GOD these days. We need to feel the presence of Jesus and to know exactly where he brought us from and CECE helps us get there.

You will know when it's Ministry and when it's just entertainment.
This is Ministry, people.................thats the key.

Exploring different genres of MUSIC but still without the compromise, please CECE baby, dont change, this is jus what we need, you are pleasing GOD with this stuff and not people, and i am amazed by yuh humbleness in sound.

Still you bring the praise enough, that if we dont get to our feet, we gotta be dead or something (lol)

For a true Christian Spirit that glows through Ms. Winans, you'll always find her music sung straight from the heart. A Precious Pearl in the Gospel community, "Purified" continues in the CeCe tradition, of lifting our souls to a higher plain.

I have been following CeCe's ministry and she has grown so much in the Lord. The anointing rest upon her. She is not afraid to move with the anointing. This is one of the best she has ever done. God Bless her on her journey with Christ.

I thank God for CeCe's dedicatedness to God's work. I'm glad that she has decided to obey the word of God and stay faithful to her marriage, and not get divorced the way so many other Christians in the church are doing today. She is a role model and true Christian example for all young women today. Her new CD is great, and I love the Wedding Song, (I Promise). Her voice is as anointed and beautiful as ever. Hang on in there CeCe, your work will be rewarded.

This is the first time I bought an album from CeCe Winans and I was amazed how every song on here spectacular. I listen to this cd everyday in my car and it makes my ride to my destination enjoyable!!!!

This release from CeCe Winans is a true instant classic! Her vocals are so strong and the material on this album is so versatile! She incorporates R&B, Christian, & Gospel Music all into one album! But most of all it lifts the spirit of our Lord and Savior! I love this album and it should be in the collection of die hard music fans!

My name is Mark Weber and I just saw CeCe Winans sing here in Buffalo, and she was wonderful. I read Tammy Trent's review on this amazon page and wanted to put my two cents in, as I've written about Tammy and to Tammy and so I was pleasantly surprised to see her remarks on this amazon page...anyway, Tammy is right-- artists put their lives into their music. It's a lot like having a child-- it takes a lot of labor to get it out, and then it takes nurturing to help it grow. Soon, lots of people meet it and most love it, with a few who don't. A CD is truly a lot like a baby. Well, let me tell you all that CeCe Winans is one-of-a-kind. I don't know how she does it-- manages to stay hip and young and cool and fun and poised and smart and full of love and spirit-filled all at the same time (I could go on and on). I was one of a handful of white people among 1000 black people at her concert-- I was in the center, 2nd row-- couldn't ask for a better or closer seat. I saw this woman cry, laugh, and sing her heart out. So I want you all to know that CeCe is not singing for money or fame, and so you should check her music out, because she is trying to help y'all get connected with God. Im am a huge CeCe Winans fan and she is
also a PHENOMENON in concert,go see her when
she comes to your town.Let me just first
say even before hearing the album I bought
an extra copy for my sister and mailed it
to her in Taji DC overseas with her job.

An artist like CeCe you dont even have to
listen to the album before buying it because
you know its going to be good.I know my
sister will love it.Even though the whole
album is good im just going to review my
favorites.

Mamma's Kitchen (very warm song)

You Will (Beautiful song,very uplifting song of
encourgement it is classic CeCe,you will love it).

Pray (favorite standout song,this song will
have you clapping to the beat,my little brother
likes this one this is also her current
single on gospel radio,go CeCe).

All that I Need (Simply put,Beautiful)

Just Like That (this song had to grow on
me because it is very different from what
CeCe sings,in a good way,this song
will actually having you rejoiceing,she sings
this song with so much joy and it will really,
really,really minster to you.

You are Loved and Purified(this two songs
are my personal favorites,these songs speaks
and ministers to your soul,you can actually
feel God's love through CeCe to you as she
sings "You Are Loved".

Colorful World (This is a unity songs and CeCe
is talking about celebrating our differences
as humans and not building plastic fences,this
is a very deep song,this goes for black on black,
black on white and white on white this song
speaks to all generations).

He's Concerned (Classic CeCe,u know she does a
good job on this one,simply beautiful).

If you are a CeCe Winans fan you will want
to get this album also,even if you are not
I really do recommend it.
