Purity is the second installment of the Dangerous Virtue series. While searching for her orphaned sisters she falls for Pale Wolf; a mysterious half breed Indian who has bushwhacked her trail drive. Together they face an adventurous jouney of events that bond them for life.
This was my first Elaine Barbieri book and it was wonderful. I feared it would be another Cassie book, too much mush. But, I was wrong. This was a very interesting book and had plenty of action. Purity is not just a little white virgin beauty, you can actually relate to her. Nor does the Indian drool after her, like in most white-Indian relationship books. This was more realistic. Alot of steamy scenes. I have in turn purchased all of Ms. Barbieri books, she is a very creative and passionate writer.
