This courageous guide to sexuality for single Christians will have a somewhat specialized audience given its very conservative stance; yet Duin (a religion reporter for the Houston Chronicle) makes her case for chastity with such insight and sensitivity, blending journalistic discussion and self-disclosure so skillfully, that even those who disagree with her position will surely acknowledge she presents it beautifully. Especially good is her stress on spending one's energy on goals and dreams and on facing feeling honestly rather than hiding in self-denial. EC
