Kris has done it again! This straightforward book on sexuality cuts right through our culture's hormone-driven, standard-less approach to the subject. It reads like a frank father & child chat; full of warmth and wisdom. Kris' honesty is refreshing. Avoiding the extremes of lawlessness and legalism, he gets to the roots of our sexual thoughts and behavior. In a shame-free atmosphere, Kris honors the beauty of physical intimacy within the covenant of marriage. He also offers redemptive hope to those who have fallen into sexual sin. This is a "must read" for every parent and leader. It is also vital insight for every child and young adult. Kris is a prophetic general, rallying an army to start a purity revolution!

Kris Vallotton opens his book "Purity" with an allegorical story "The Parable of the Ring" which depicts the ring as the symbol of your virginity. The book was written with the purpose of providing a catalyst for a sexual reformation. It is Vallotton's prayer the book will "rock the planet and rewrite the sexual paradigms of our time!"

Kris draws on illustrations and lessons from life to provide practical tips on establishing vision, virtue, values and standards while setting boundaries for maintaining purity. He coaches young people to develop a plan for purity, for guarding the thought life by making a covenant with your eyes not to compromise your heart. He discusses practical matters; the importance of accountability and the danger of deception. He offers guidelines for date and courting and establishes standards for appropriate behavior. Vallotton goes on to describe marriage as a covenant relationship which includes Holy love and Holy affection.

A natural story teller, Kris uses heartwarming and heartbreaking stories to illustrate the reward of victory, the result of defeat, and the promise of restoration, a second chance and forgiveness. The final story called "Grace" is a perfect example of God's grace in the lives of those looking to Him for strength.

This is a book for a new generation on the brink of becoming participants of a sexual paradigm shift for sexual purity and for anyone caught up in guilt seeking forgiveness and victory by accepting God's forgiveness and grace.

Kris Vallotton has done it again. He has given us a book that is revolutionizing the way we think. This book is a must read for every family. We truly can start a new moral revolution by knowing what God has called us to, and the ability God has given us to influence the culture we live in with the culture of the kingdom.

A great perspective on remaining pure. This book helped me to see the power in having a vision of purity. Once you have a vision of what purity looks like, it's so much easier to focus on that than on the current situations, circumstances or temptations. The outcome that purity produces then looks so much more appealing than what the outcome of your flesh wants to give in to will produce.

This book is so good, I know that it was written under the influence of the Holy Spirit because there is no condemnation in it, no shame, only hope. He gives a people a good foundation of why God sees immorality as wrong and keep yourself out of that pit. I bought it because this is an area where I have fallen, and I wanted my kids to have a game plan to not fall into the same pit. I was just told not to. I wasn't told why not to or even if you find yourself in this situation this is how to get out. Thank you God for allowing Kris to write this and answer some hard hitting question with hard hitting answers. Praise God!!

This book is an absolute must-read for all. As a recent college graduate who has encountered the difficulty of staying pure in high school/college, I am HIGHLY recommending this book for ALL!!!! I so wish I had this book when I was younger and that is why I am SO promoting it.

It's such a different approach to purity - No longer are we fighting to maintain purity because we want to avoid pain ... but NOW, we are remaining PURE because of the AMAZING reward that comes!! As a psychology major, this is totally true - positive reinforcement, not negative, is much more effective. Kris is an amazing writer and portrays these thoughts with such grace.

This a MUST-BUY!!!!!

Whatever the case: Read it, give it away, get the book circulating...it's going to start a REVOLUTION! I could not recommend it more!

If you're at all thinking about purchasing this book, DO IT! It has set free so many things in my life and those who I know have read it as well! Kris Vallotton has revelation and a teaching that's worth the ~$10 for this book. Pass it on to everyone it's SO good

I really did not order this book, thought I ordered another of Kris's, but this came and I have heard about it since it came out. But I don't think it was a mistake that it came. After reading it with my 12 grandkids in mind, I think it is so well done and I feel very comfortable sitting down with my grandson's and not being embarassed about presenting them with the purity book and being able to say, "it's ok to stay pure and not fall to peer pressure". Kris presents the argument in such a perfect way that it would seem "cool" to remain pure and manly. This is a tough time for young people, they fight a fight I never could have imagined and this is great ammunition. Highly recommend to all grandma's out there, and of course parents to require this read.

Kris Vallotton is edgy and real. He speaks the truth candidly and with a boldness which is refreshing. I will be buying this book by the case and giving it out to every young person I know and hope their parents grab it too. A book for today.

I am a children's pastor that has an amazing teen-age daughter who's 19. Most of her friends are sexually active and I wanted her to understand some things that I knew that this book covers about who she is and how she should see herself in terms of relationships. So I paid her $30.00 to read it. As she was reading, I asked her how it was going, and she said that she knew most of what it said. When she was done, we sat down to talk about it. She told me that when she was 11, she made a decision. When she was 12 she got a purity ring. After reading this book, she now understands "why" she made the decisions that she did....that's all I can ask of a book.
