5.0 out of 5 stars Easy to Grow from Seed - Beautiful Purple Blooms, May 8, 2011
This review is from: 1,200 Purple Coneflower Seeds with Free Shipping
Purple Coneflowers are easy to grow from seed, and are beautiful once established. First till the soil to a depth of about 2 inches, then distribute the coneflower seed. Rake it in gently. Now water every day lightly until the sprouts emerge, then water every other day until well established. They should bloom in the first year if planted early enough. The plants will grow to a size of 24-36 inches and are self-perpetuating, in fact, they will spread and take over a garden or area quite easily. I like to mix these in with Shasta Daisies and Black-Eyed Susans, for a colorful mix. The birds love these seeds, and butterflies will land on the flowers as well.

Recieved the item super fast. Planted them the next day. Within 2 weeks they began bursting through the ground with new sprouts everywhere. Can't wait for them to bloom. It's going to be oddles of color. Will definitely be back next year to purchase more.

Received these along with two other orders from this company in record time. Now must wait for the right planting time can hardly wait to see how they grow outdoors. Tried a small amount indoors and they spouted in a few days.
