5.0 out of 5 stars just seen them live!, October 29, 2000
By
This review is from: Purple Through the Fishtank (Audio CD)
Can't say enough about this album and especially the group. Have had the opportunity to spend some talk time with them as they performed live at a local church I attend. It is evident in their music that they are at a point in their music where they are experiencing life changing results (ie:What will I do, Come Near to Me, and You) in worship as well as their lives personally. I was surprised to see that Holy, Holy was so well known by so many. If you want to experience some quality worship time with your youth group, small group meetings or introduce some kickin music at your next coffee house, have fun drinkin in this stuff. Good til the last drop!

5.0 out of 5 stars Awesome New Millenium Praise, March 6, 2001

This album is a must for all people who like to blast out the Christian message with pride, and is an awesome mix of praise and worship for the new millenium. 'Holy, Holy' is a must hear song, summing up the theme of the album beautifully. We have embraced this song at our church. By this album now and hear the way praise and worship should be in the new millenium!!

5.0 out of 5 stars brilliant purple., June 6, 2000
This review is from: Purple Through the Fishtank (Audio CD)
If you've heard The Stoneleigh Band, then you've heard Phatfish since they are one and the same. Without Stuart Townend, they call themselves Phatfish. Get this CD if you like rockin' music with lyrics that inspire you to worship God. Phatfish have taken on a new guitar player, Alan Rose, who contributes four excellent songs including the first one on the CD. Each member of the band is an accomplished writer. The music is rockin' and has a tight feel. Alan Shacklock is the Producer (also did Phil Keaggy's True Believer, among others). Lou's voice just gets better and better. I recently heard them live and I love this CD! And by the way, they are on tour this summer.
