just seen them live!,

Can't say enough about this album and especially the group. Have had the opportunity to spend some talk time with them as they performed live at a local church I attend. It is evident in their music that they are at a point in their music where they are experiencing life changing results (ie:What will I do, Come Near to Me, and You) in worship as well as their lives personally. I was surprised to see that Holy, Holy was so well known by so many. If you want to experience some quality worship time with your youth group, small group meetings or introduce some kickin music at your next coffee house, have fun drinkin in this stuff. Good til the last drop!

Awesome New Millenium Praise,
By Craig (Wellington, New Zealand) - See all my reviews

This album is a must for all people who like to blast out the Christian message with pride, and is an awesome mix of praise and worship for the new millenium. 'Holy, Holy' is a must hear song, summing up the theme of the album beautifully. We have embraced this song at our church. By this album now and hear the way praise and worship should be in the new millenium!!

If you've heard The Stoneleigh Band, then you've heard Phatfish since they are one and the same. Without Stuart Townend, they call themselves Phatfish. Get this CD if you like rockin' music with lyrics that inspire you to worship God. Phatfish have taken on a new guitar player, Alan Rose, who contributes four excellent songs including the first one on the CD. Each member of the band is an accomplished writer. The music is rockin' and has a tight feel. Alan Shacklock is the Producer (also did Phil Keaggy's True Believer, among others). Lou's voice just gets better and better. I recently heard them live and I love this CD! And by the way, they are on tour this summer.

Phish are alive and swimming,

Phatfish are from Brighton England and know music. I have listened to all kinds of christian artists who try to sound like somebody who has airplay on the secular airwaves. Phatfish are original and have a souns all of there own. They are artists in their own right and can paint a vibrant picture of the christian life that is thought provoking, challenging, and inspiring. This recording stands with the best of contemporary christian music available today. Packed with the sweet yet powerful voice of Lou Fellingham, original guitar licks and rhythms from Bert, Alan, Nathan, and Luke will keep calling you to "play it again"The following tunes " Help You", "resolve", "What would I do" are among my favorite on the c.d. I strongly recommend this recording to youth and young adults for something fresh and musically tight.

Self-service,

I found the album monotonous and self serving with subdued lyrics and unimaginative musical paths. I had hoped for a great deal more. The entire genre of "Christian Rock" is too loaded down with its agenda to be able to truly touch the soul with music itself, the form of which even Sartre conceded points to something in a higher realm of form divorced from the world of becoming. This album misses this entirely.
