This product helped me better understand the book. Along with the video, this put flesh on the book. If you read this without the video or the book, it won't make sense. Don't buy this alone! It goes with a video. I love Doug Fields' stuff. It's always practical and helpful.

The Purpose-Driven Youth Ministry gives practical examples and thought-provoking insights into why we do what we do in youth ministry. Being able to recognize that some programs will work, others will not and must be discontinued was an eye-opener to me. Trying different things that work for your youth group at this time, is a concept that benefits the youth group as a whole, and thus, strengthens the gospel message.

I went through this booklet and feel that there are better resources for my needs with our youth group. Refers to the video which I don't have and would likely be best used also with the text, which I don't plan to read. Oh well, purchased it used and only paid a couple dollars.

THE INFORMATION IN THE KIT IS GOOD BUT IT SHOULD BE ON A DVD INSTEAD OF VHS.

this is an excellent program to help build and sustain a God-centered, Christ-centered youth group program.

A great supplement to the book by the same author. If you're leading a group of youth leaders through this material, why not have each person buy a copy and everyone be on the same page? It just makes life easier and is a great resource for later reference.

I was very eager to get started reading the book, I was so lost when I opened this book, the directions of the book, and the areas that had to be filled in didnot make since to me. I also didn't understand the pages that had the word video written on them. Was I to look at a video tape to answer some of the questions?
