I already have the following items for Purpose Driven Life: What On Earth Am I Here For?:
Hardcover Book, the Journal, tapes & CDs, but I wanted the For Commuters version because I can get more out it of while driving. Also it allows me to catch up. I've advised others to read the book, listen to tapes or cds. Purpose Driven Life allows me to focus on what's important & to really think about my purpose because most of us don't feel or have a clue to what our purpose is in life. It also enlightens me to what I didn't know & to know what I sometimes felt wasn't wrong. I now regret I couldn't take the workshops/classes when they were available. I did email the poem in the book to others which touched almost everyone who read it. I would highly recommend this to all who searching or looking for their purpose in life & for refresher course in their Christinan walk with God!!!

I was very surprised at how well I connected with "Purpose Driven Life". I'm not a born-again Christian; I'm just a regular guy. I never thought how all the little details in my life were created for God's purpose. But a lot of my thinking came together when I listed to some of the author's ideas.

I've always been a Christian, but I used to feel that a lot of chance and guessing played a part in whether you go to Heaven. I feel more confident that God loves us and wants us to go to Heaven. I trust Him. I also feel better about what to do here on Earth, because of this audio book.

I'm an innkeeper, & rarely have time to just "sit & read". I do have the hard cover; however, a friend recently gave me the 4-volume CD so I can listen while doing other innkeeping activities. It's wonderful. I would highly recommend it for anyone who wants to benefit from the lessons, but who finds it difficult to find time for the book. It's a wonderful in-depth look at why we're here on this earth!

Even if you're not Christian, this is something to consider. Direct presentation challenged my life view, and is helping me to refocus.

I must be the only person on the planet who didn't resonate with this author's book. I still enjoyed hearing the author in the audio version, and I satisfied my curiosity about the national hoopla -- but I can't say I was inspired, motivated or entertained. I gave the set away to friends who are in awe of author Rick Warren.

loved the book. loved the workbook. but hearing this author's voice talking is different to me then the written word alone. super job. non offensive to any religon. i would highly recommend this book/ cd's.

If you already have a fundamentalist inclination, then this book will provide valuable confirmation and focus for you. It's a manifesto for the 21st century true believer. A bit like a 'Charles Atlas' program for christians.

If you are not already a true believer, then this audiobook will do little for you. The most compelling arguement for faith here is that if you don't believe, you go to hell (though he is never so blunt as to say it that way).

His most useful message for me was simply that life needs to be purpose-driven. Humans need goals, focus and community support. His 'questions to consider' and 'points to ponder'were also useful topic to meditate over. But to me life doesn't have to be focused around my local church, as Warren insists.

I admire Rick Warren for his community work and ability to impact positively on the lives of so many people. However, using this audiobook has not been a life altering experience for me.

I purchased this in hopes of clarity for my life, God, and everything else. Product delivered that & although I`m not finished with the DVDs, however, I already have a new found love & thanks for God.

This is an excellent audio book that really helps you grow in your relationship with the Lord. Rick Warren also explains everything so well that it just makes sense. You will have many "Ah Hah" moments throughout the book. I have started listening to it a second time now (several months later) to be reminded and have the right mind set of what is important in life.

Wonderfully focused daily devotionals of about 10 - 15 minutes. Time to listen on a commute and then relisten or meditate and/or pray about content you've just heard. Very practical. They all tie together and really do help you live a Purpose Driven Life. Any dead fish can float downstream! The content of this audiobook teaches how we can swim against the tide of an unhealthy culture. If you liked the book and/or you drive 20 or more minutes to work, this is a great buy.
