I like this soap because of its gentleness. I am struggling with adult acne and this soap has helped. Gentle and non-drying. Also, the size that came from Amazon was quite a bit bigger than the one I purchased at K-mart for the same price- bonus!

I use The Purpose Cleansing Bar for my face only. I have real oily skin and this works very well to combat against the oil. I find it to be more effective than some of the liguid gels I've bought. Compared to the others, it is very economical...it lasts a long time.

I found this to be particularly good for my sometimes overly sensitive skin, though I did find it a bit drying. However, it was non-irritating. It wasn't especially good at removing make-up and I found I needed a makeup remover first, followed by the soap.

This Purpose soap does an excellent job removing makeup, including mascara, although I still had to use eye makeup remover. It left my skin feeling clean, refreshed and ready for a moisturizer.

This soap produces great lather and doesn't dry your skin out. It also has a pleasant smell. The bar is a good sized bar soap, and I've also found if you leave it in water for a while, it doesn't get too slimy like other soaps.

As someone who has battled acne in the past and still gets occasional breakouts, I learned over time that the beauty companies will keep coming out with their new facial cleaners that are supposed to do some new thing that all the other previous facial cleansers didn't do. The cleansers that were advertised as for acne always made my acne worse, especially if they had salicylic acid. This is a basic facial cleanser that does everything you need. Personally I don't want to wash my face every single day with a cleanser full of chemicals. The 6 ounce bar of this is a great value and lasts a long time. The only thing to be careful about with this bar is that it can be a little drying. Make sure you don't use too much, and I always use a moisturizer. I use once a day before bed.

I found this soap very good to my face but it is always essential to use a good moisturizer. If you have a good moisturizer that does not feel too greasy, then this soap is perfect for you. I found the bar to last me roughly 2 months after every day use twice a day. The smell is not particularly good, but can be tolerated. It foams nicely during wash, something I like as it makes it easier to apply onto my face.

I have tried all kinds of products for acne, but nothing has worked this well. I've been using it for about 3 weeks and I haven't even looked at my other cleansers! I've even been using my spot treatment less. My skin looks fresh and clean and feels really smooth after using the product.

I liked the Purpose Gentle Cleansing Bar a lot. It was a gentle soap that I felt comfortable using on my face and my baby's skin. The soap lathered nicely and had a pleasant smell. It left my skin feeling very clean and soft. I'll definitely buy this product in the future.

This soap lathers up really nicely and leaves you squeaky-clean! It has a pleasant smell and was a big bar. It leaves your skin feeling soft. I'd recommend it.
