I used to hate cats. I always thought they were feisty, aloof, and I'm allergic to them to boot. However, once a little furball entered my life for good, I'm oddly become one of those people with an irrational soft spot for cats. If you or someone you know owns a cat, then you'll probably get a kick out of this book. The illustrations are fantastic, truly capturing the oh-so-common yet still adorable positions and expressions of our feline friends. The rhetoric is also rather clever and compliments the illustrations marvelously. I read most of it at a Tattered Cover in Denver in just a few minutes. While it's a nice novelty item, I think the price is a little steep for it to be showing up on my coffee table anytime soon, but it'd be a great gift.

this is a beautifully illustrated and fairly amusing book for any cat owner/lover! i gave 2 of these books as gifts this holiday season and they were a huge hit! and being a cat owner myself i got a real kick out of flipping through them!! i only wish it was a little longer ;) i think there are a lot more fun pictures and cat-isms to be explored!

It's a wonderful book, especially for cat lovers. Guaranteed to produce chuckles and a nod of the head.

If you expect actual logic from cats, forget this. If, on the other hand, you are a cat lover who adores beautiful cat portraits and clever sayings that apply to cats, this might be just the thing for your "reading room." My favorite is "If I like it, it's mine. If it's between my paws, it's mine. If I saw it first, it's mine. If it was already dead, it's yours."

This is a delightful book that both children and adults will enjoy. I read this book with my 10 year old son who loves all animals, but sadly is allergic to many, including cats. He adores cats and we both loved the beautiful full-color illustrations of the 30 different cats that are featured in this wonderful book. The author, Jane Seabrook, wrote and illustrated the book. She captured perfectly, the adorable expressions and positions that cats can get themselves into and express their unique personalities. These illustrations are complemented by matching quotes that are wonderful companions to the illustrations. Purry Logic is a beautifully bound medium sized hardcover book with rich colors. And, who cannot be pulled in by the adorable cat on the cover with those gorgeous blue eyes? This lovely book would make a wonderful gift for cat lovers as well as animal lovers.

It is obvious to a cat owner that the author/artist also is a dedicated cat lover/owner. I recomment thie little book to every cat lover -- it's hilarious, and we all need more humor.

This makes a nice little gift for cat loving friends. They will recognize their cat on many of the pages. And as usual, Jane Seabrook's illustrations are really nice.

I ordered this for a gift for a cat lover. Somewhere it was described as a "coffee table book" which I took to mean a large, heavy book. I should have looked at the dimensions, because it is a tiny gift book. Nice pictures and all, but not the impressive gift I hoped it would be. It is fine to be tucked into a bouquet or slipped into a stocking, but looks a bit puny to be given as a gift by itself.

This book combines detailed illustrations with witty sayings that reasonably describe cats' perspectives on life and those who serve them.

Precious pictures/paintings of wide variety of gatos but not as humorous as FURRY Logic originals.
Worth it for the bargain price, though and was enjoyed!
