This review is from: Pursuit of Ecstasy: The MDMA Experience (Suny Series in New Social Studies on Alcohol and Drugs) (Paperback)
I do not recommend "Pursuit of Ecstasy: The MDMA Experience" for those studying MDMA therapy or seeking practical advice. The book is mostly an ethnography: interviews with MDMA users, etc. The group studied was mostly educated and well-to-do, and offered few unique insights about the drug. This book is probably fine for those interested in sociology/empathogens rather than psychology/philosophy/empathogens. If you do any reading about MDMA, check out "Ecstasy : The Complete Guide : A Comprehensive Look at the Risks and Benefits of MDMA."
