There is no greater quest than the pursuit of God. If you thirst for the secret place of intimacy with the eternal Father, you will love this book. If you would like to be like Enoch and "walk with God", you must have this book! Mr Tozer brings to the reader an unquenchable flame for the Holy One and the undying desire just to draw near and behold Him in all His glory. He, in his attempt to explain a God who is beyond the greatest of human understanding, sometimes passes the limitations of even the most intellegent of readers. The study guide brings the deepest of trues to a level that even us "average thinkers" can understand. This book truely has changed my life and the life of many of my friends. Please buy this book. You will thank me if you do.

Tozer's The Pursuit of God is a deep, deep writing. Each reading reveals more of God and His purpose in our lives. The study guide, while faithfully following the format of the text, falls short of plumbing the depths of the text. It is a good starting point, but needs to be supplemented with teaching and discussion led by one who can reach into the depths the study guide leaves unexplored.

This little gem profoundly changes the way you view God. It forces the seemingly religious to seriously examine the practicality of living for Christ. Excellent and easy to read.

If I could recommend only one book besides the Bible, this book would be it. Written in 1949, it is a classic, and often quoted by more contemporary authors. Tozer provides practical insights and encouragement to those who hunger and thirst for God. His words are moving, inspiring, relevant, and profound. Once you have read this book, you will want to keep it handy and refer to it often.

This book provides a gateway to know and come closer to God. I have used this book to teach a class at my church and 18 of us have drawn much closer to God in the process. All of us note an improved prayer life and better focus on God.

Tozer had such a personal and deep relationship with Christ and genuinely wants to take you their with him. I got this book for my Bible study group and we are all long time Christians and found this book to make us consider things we never had before. Really love this book and highly encourage others to read and experience it.

This is the kind of book that you read and read again and then read a chapter, put the book down and try to process what you've heard. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is serious about a real relationship with God. I tried to go through this book with a smallgroup, but most were not ready for the commitment.

This book is one everyone who has a faith should have in their library. It is a "how-to-live" book and one that I will read over and over. Each chapter is on a separate topic so it makes a good book to pick up when one just has a few minutes to read. Especially valuable is the study guide at the end of the book.

This book is very informative on how to pursue God on a daily basis. Some of the writing seems to have an Old English style because it was written a half of a century ago. I would recommend this book.

Wow! I love this book & I am not finished with it yet. I am reading it slowly and savoring every word. I will read it again & again. I do not even want to use the study guide but intend to study this book with Scriptures by my side.
