Whether you read Radclyffe's series books, like the Justice series or the Honor series or the Provincetown series, or you read one of her stand-alone romances, you can not go wrong.I have been reading lesbian fiction for many years, and can honestly say that I have never come across a writer that has so affected me. Her characters are strong, intelligent, and romantic. Naysayers will say that Radclyffe's characters are too perfect almost never flawed - either in looks or character. That may be true, but aren't you tired of the genre's penchant for ordinary? Radclyffe's characters are always enchanting, intoxicating, enticing, and intense. The stories, particularly in the series books, are all first class. Most of her series books are page-turners. And in two of the books, I actually turned to the last page to make sure that the main characters survived - something I never do. Radclyffe let us believe, at least for the duration of each of her books, that the grand passion, the true love, the happy-ever-after are all possible. She lets us believe that being a strong, intelligent woman does not mean that we will be alone and/or isolated. The only caveat I have is to read the series books in order. And if you enjoy watching a writer grow, then read the non-series books in the order they were written and watch Radclyffe's talent grow before your very eyes.

Intense Drama! Romance! Intrigue!,

This review is from: In Pursuit of Justice (Paperback)
Introduced in the fantastic book, Shield of Justice, Detective Sgt. Rebecca Frye and Dr. Catherine Rawlings relationship continues to develop as Rebecca, who was critically injured while on a case, returns to duty. Assigned to a task force headed by the Justice Department, Rebecca is joined by JT Sloan, who was introduced to readers in A Matter of Trust, and her team of cyber experts. What type of case could the task force be investigating that would involve the Justice Department? Drugs? Pornography? Weapons Dealing? As Rebecca emerges herself in the task force's investigation, Catherine finds herself with several questions. Has Rebecca returned to duty too soon? Will her injuries keep her from giving her best or put her in extreme danger once again? How much strain could this put on their relationship? And when JT's lover Michael is critically injured and fights for her life, Rebecca, along with dealing with everything else that's going on, is forced into keeping JT from going off on a vigilante mission. Questions arise: Who was the intended target? Was it JT? Rebecca? Michael herself? As signs start to point to someone else within the task force having their own hidden agenda, more questions surface. Who is this person? Will their agenda put any or all of the task force members in danger...to the point it could cost someone their life? Extremely talented in fusing drama, intrigue, suspense and romance Radclyffe is truly one of the supreme writers of our time. Adept at weaving captivating tales as displayed in her "Honor" series: Above All, Honor; Honor Bound, Love & Honor, and Honor Guards, as well as in her other books: Passion's Bright Fury, Tomorrow's Promise, Love's Tender Warriors, Love's Masquerade, Fated Love, Safe Harbor and its terrific sequel Beyond the Breakwater along with the aforementioned Shield of Justice and A Matter of Trust and my personal favorite, Love's Melody Lost. Her upcoming book, Distant Shore, Silent Thunder can only be another terrific book by a truly terrific writer.

Radclyffe Keeps Getting Better and Better,
By
This review is from: In Pursuit of Justice (Paperback)
I remember reading a Radclyffe interview where she said she didn't like writing series romances. I'm so very glad she doesn't "walk the talk" on that one! I have completely enjoyed her three series: Honor, Provincetown, and Justice. In fact, I've read through all of them for a second time this year.'Pursuit' brings together characters from two books: A Matter of Trust & Shield of Justice. Rad does it in such a masterful way, bringing in three interesting couples (Rebecca and Catherine from Justice, Jason and Sarah & Sloan and Michael from Trust), each with it's own trials and triumphs. She also plants the seed for another couple to emerge through rookie cop Mitchell and prostitute Sandy. One might think such a varied cast of characters would make the book hard to follow, but the synergy between personalities gives the book itself depth and dimensionality. I never tire of Rad's work. This one certainly didn't disappoint!

I have become addicted to Radcyffe's work. This book was noexception. I enjoyed how she tied characters from two of her previous books together, (Shield of Justice and A Matter of Trust). Radclyffe does a wonderful job of building the chemistry, sparks, and emotions between the characters of her books--espcially between the primary couple, Rebecca and Catherine. Although, I thought the relationship between Sloan and Michael (from A Matter of Trust) was secondary, this book showed us how their relationship had developed and how their love had grown even stronger since the past book. The intrigue of the story also had me looking ahead to the next page. Radclyffe's mixture of crime and passion is superb. In Pursuit of Justice definitely left us hanging--had several unresolved issues. I just hope the next sequal to this is not long behind!!!!

If you are familiar with Radclyffe's work, then there is nothing that I can tell you. As usual, this is a terrific book with excitement, suspense and plenty of romance. It picks up the story from Shield of Justice and continues the relationship between Sgt. Rebecca Frye and Dr. Catherine Rawlings as they are drawn into a special task force that is trying to stop a child pornography ring. Since the ring functions online, there is a special treat in that computer ace Sloan and her partner Michael from Radclyffe's previous book, A Matter of Trust, are introduced into the story. The story is not resolved completely at the end, so one can only hope that there is another book in this series. Buy this. You will not be disappointed.

Adventure,romance,intrigue,and more!,

Rarely have I found a writer who can take so many different plot lines and weave them all into one book. You could take any one of at least three seperate tracks in this book and turn them into individual stand alone stories worthy of publishing. But such is the case with Radclyffe's writing. She gives you much more than your money's worth, and leaves you with enough questions to cause you to hunger for the next installment in the series. I recommend reading her "series" stories in order, and watch both the writer and the characters in her literature mature!

I was disappointed to realize this is a reprint and not a new installment in the Justice Series. I already have the book which is #2 in the series. This book was originally distributed by Quest in 2006. Amazon should have made this clear.

I really enjoy the way that Radclyffe writes - she has great characters and realistic plots. The books in the Justice series don't miss a day, one book picks up where the last one left off. Very quick read, keeps you interested - when you finish one book you want to start the next book to keep the story going.
