Definitely worth owning,
By History Buff "owen11" (Chicago, IL USA) - See all my reviews

There's no question that improvement is possible, but if you listen carefully to this CD you can hear a world of potential. Matt's got a great voice, and the rest of the band has genuine talent. It's the kind of CD you can listen to a lot and not get sick of it. There is a neat level of musical diversity that keeps the tracks each sounding unique - which most popular acts lack. Pick it up, you won't be disappointed.

A True Band,
By SOMEONE WHO LOVES GOOD MUSIC (Salida, CA) - See all my reviews

I have loved this band ever since, if you can believe this, they came to my High School twice(Grace M Davis, modesto) and played a concert and gave audographs. Not only are they the greatest band today, but their CD rocks too! I am recomending this CD for anyone who loves a real band who is not afraid to come to a high school of rude high schoolers and play FOR REAL!

Flying Blind is great!,

I really like all of Flying Blind's songs. They have a sound that can span several generations. It's something that both parents and their kids can enjoy listening to together. The band is also very entertaining to see live. They never disappoint and you always leave wanting more. This CD is always in my player. I listen to it daily and never get tired of hearing it. I just press the play button and say "Sing to me Matt". It makes my daily commute go by so much faster.

Remember when rock-n-roll was still fun? Well climb in, shut up, and hold on cuz this twisted little kinky band has spun out a great gem of an album. These guys blaze through songs like "Smokescreen" and "Chocolate Covered Secrets". This is a great party album! Enjoy the ride.

Flying Blind Rawks!!,
By April (California) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Push (Audio CD)
I am a big fan of Flying Blind. I have to agree that they are way, way better live than in the studio and the independant cd is a better but their debut cd is great too! I absolutely love every song and they all have meaning to me. I love "Smokescreen" on the new album but i must admit my favorite is the version with the false ending on the demo cd. Flying Blind will sure to be popping up all over the place! Buy the cd you'll love it!

I had never heard of them until they showed up in the store I worked at. They were playing 2 shows in town and came in to buy some stuff. They gave me one of their demo discs. I immediately played it and fell in love with them. Their music is fun, and they are really down to earth guys. I recommend this cd if you want some lighthearted and fun music.

Fun, Great, Groovy...if you like that sort of thing!,

Certainly, a review from a music fan who can appreciate the good in such a vast array of styles could be worth something to somebody...Coming from that perspective, I give this CD a Five out of Five. This energetic band rocks one minute and the next is singing soft melodies that all add up for a really enjoyable album, start to finish. Now if you DONT like fun, fast paced catchy tunes, and beautiful melodies that get stuck in your head (but you dont even mind because they are so good)then this is not the album for you! But if you DO, Flying Blind is the future in the present and this CD is great!

The Funtrain,

I've been following this band's progression for some 7 years now and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with what they have accomplished and this CD. From their first CD (not available), there has been so much improvement it's impressive to see. Being from Southern California, I hadn't had the pleasure of hearing the songs from the album until I purchased it. And all I have to say is WOW. There are not many CD's that I can listen to from start to finish. But this one is one of few CD's that I don't skip songs or pick and chose which to listen to. It is a great CD and worth every penny I spent on it.

Flying Blind left a lasting impression,

I had never heard of this band until they came to the Q101 Cinco De Mayo Festival when I was just 14 years old. When the band got on stage, they totally rocked. I loved their performance, they were extremely passionate and very high energy. I got to hang out with the band for a couple hours after the show and they're great guys! I bought this album and listened to it non stop for the longest time. I like the great diversity on the album from song to song. This is NOT one of those albums where all the songs sound the same. Not only that, but it's nearly impossible for me to find an album and like EVERY song on it, even to this day. Push is that CD for me. I can put this CD in and rock out to every track. It's been 7 years since I first saw Flying Blind live in 2001 and I still have that great nostalgic feeling about them. I still have my push CD and I still pop it in from time to time. I'd definitely say their music left a lasting impression on me.
