Product Description

Easy and fast, strip and push conductors into connectors to make reliable, secure connections. Simplified insertion and compact size helps in tight locations. Clear polycarbonate housings have color-coded side panels for connection verification and identification. Corrosion-resistant stainless steel springs restrict wire pullout, yet corrections are possible with a simple left-right twist and pull. Continuity test point for easy voltage checks. Rated at 600 volt maximum in building wire and at 1000 volt maximum in lighting fixtures and luminaries. Copper-to-copper connections only.

Quickest way to do wiring. Shortcoming is that although you can remove wires, doing so requires "unscrewing" the wires and you can't do this with more than one wire in the nut, so if you have to re-do, you'll lose the wire nut and a half inch of wire.

With a metal box you need to connect four outlet wires with a wire in, wire out, receptacle and ground. Getting four 12 AWG wires twisted with a nut is a real pain sometimes. These make it easy. They are also probably more reliable for a DIY like me. In the past, I have run into wire nuts where the wires under the nut were not properly twisted. You can visually see the connection is made with these.

Just strip and connect, great product at a great price. Be careful though, some codes don't allow push connectors. Makes it easy to add a circuit or outlet.
