3.0 out of 5 stars Push this back on the shelf
Relentless delivers another urban fiction. Back in the day, Reginald "Push" Jackson was known as the biggest drug pusher of the 125th street crew. They had the drug game on lock until the Feds came in and had witnesses turn state's evidence, thus causing Push to be sentenced to 15 years in a federal penitentiary. As a result, the crew and the drug game folded...

Meet Reginald "Push" Jackson, in Relentless Aaron's book, Push. When Push's parents are murdered, he must become a parent to his baby sister, Crystal. With no other means to support himself and his sister, Push resorts to selling drugs. At the height of his lucrative career, New York's finest interferes and Push soon finds himself in jail. While in jail, Push learns the names of the people responsible for his parents' murder. Release from jail only means one thing to push - revenge. Can the love of a good woman and a devoted sister satisfy Push's appetite for revenge? Will Push avenge his parents' death or will he take on his newly offered job as a hired killer? The answer is in Relentless Aaron's exciting urban thriller, Push.

Wow, what a ride! If the trait of a good writer is his or her ability to keep their readers entertained, Relentless Aaron has mastered his craft. This book was packed with action and a fast-paced story. At every turn, a twist awaited. Aaron's development of the characters is to be commended, long after I put the book down, I found myself thinking about them. If you like urban fiction, and If you are looking for a book that is packed with action, Push, by Relentless Aaron is your book. Bravo Relentless!

Relentless Aaron has done it!He is that rare breed of authors who can excite, anger and arose a reader in the same book.PUSH is the novel that caused me to want more from this author as well as dreading the ending of said novel due to the fact that it was that damn good!It takes the reader into the world of a classic anti hero named Reginald "Push" Johnson.Push comes home after serving time in prision only to be lured back into the seamy underbelly of Harlem for the sake of family. The novel details the relasionship of Push the hitman, his victims, and the effect one has on the others lives. There is a lot to be said for an author who takes the time to do reserch on a subject for publication but with Relentless Aaron you feel that he has been there done that and has the tee shirt! He has created a page turner that only leaves you wanting more. The same way a man and woman who have just finished their first honeymoon bedroom session want more. This is a well written exciting summer read.I highly recommend it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal!!! WHAT"S NEXT???!!!, January 20, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Push (Paperback)
This is an engaging novel filled with the underworld of hustlers, gangstas, thugs, crooked politrickions, eroctic woman, big money, dirty money, street scores to settle & unimaginable sex! This book was incredible! The main character is centered around Reginald "Push" Jackson. He is every woman's hero and dream. Push is hired to kill, but how a can a killer such as him be such a passionate lover??? This book will astonish and capture your mind with it's unpredicatable twists & plots. This novel takes urban fiction to a whole different level. It's powerful from the foreword to the conclusion. This is a style eof writing that will grip & hold you tight! It's a page-turner that brilliantly taps in your psyche and exposes your deepest vulnerabilities. I have read this book 2X. What do I read now, Mr.Aaron?? Do you have any more books??? How do I get them? You are WICKED to leave me without something else. I NEED MORE!!! Where are your other novels??? Please don't have me begging like this - it's cruel. You give us something good & then you leave us??? Nah!!! You gotta (better) have something else! You've got my emotions all worked up after this novel. I must have something else written by you now; I need to know what you have in your mind again. I need you try and do this again. I like it TOO MUCH!!

5.0 out of 5 stars One Of The Greats, September 27, 2004

This review is from: Push (Paperback)
I've been an english teacher for 10 years, a business owner for 6 years, and a community leader since 1997... and I must say that I've never been encouraged to wriite a "review" about any book, story, etc.--especially not online. Now comes this new author, Relentless Aaron, with his book PUSH. I must here and now praise this author, his heart and courage, since such a story could NEVER be crafted had the author not experienced the same (at least) in some capacity. Relentless is a jewel among us. He is in depth, he is full of awareness & wisdom, and (quite frankly) I see him as a POWERHOUSE not to be compared. Anyone who discounts his worth, his value, or his contribution to the literary landscape is not very real themselves. DON'T HATE, CONGRATULATE! is what I have to say to the one or two haters I've read about. To those who DO understand the plight and power of PUSH (the character, as well as the storyline), you've probably been through something, enough to understand how rough the streets can be. ROUGH indeed. And since (as the saying goes) everything ain't for everybody, this book would be for those who can handle the truth... for those who don't embrace the superficial, and also, for the NON-haters of the world who are too busy with their own lives to be negative! We applaud Relentless Aaron for his work, and I ask my fellow readers to indulge in true, honest emotions of PUSH. Both the story and the main character will have a sincere impact on your life.

I will certainly buy other books of yours as well. Keep up the GREAT work!!! God bless. P.S. 5.0 out of 5 stars Relentless is Incredible!!!, January 14, 2004
By A Customer
This review is from: Push (Paperback)
Okay, let me begin by stating the obvious, I am not a literary critic.
I do not work for the New York Times, Washington Post or LA Times. However, after saying all of this, I must critique PUSH by Mr. Relentless Aaron with what sparse, humble and open-minded skills I possess.
I do not know Relentless Aaron personally, but I do know a gifted writer when I read his or her work (s), and this young man has a very strong voice. He describes his novels as Urban, Raw and even that's cool with me. But, for those of you who might think this is too street-minded, then you're in for a shock.
No, Mr. Aaron hasn't kidnapped me and is forcing me to write this commentary. No, he is not paying me a single red cent, (hmmm, now that's a thought). What provoked me to voice my neophyte literary opinion is the depth that Relentless' novel reached within me.
The book may begin in a place that we have all heard tell of or have experienced in one form or another, but, I assure you, when the brotha gets through with you, you will not believe where he leaves you at the end of this fantastic story.
PUSH is a formidable mind game, with complex twists and turns, dips and falls. Its slippery, yet sticky. Its rough, yet smooth. Its hot, yet cold in ways that mere words can never fully describe. He'll hold your attention and your very soul even in the palms of his steady hands and will only free you when he feels you've heard all he has to say for the moment--within this lone book, PUSH.
There are two chapters for you to read free at www.relentlessaaron.com.

Oh yes, Relentless Aaron's book is so hot my fingers are still sizzling from the heat!
This author has staked his claim in the urban fiction market!
The character Reginald Jackson aka "Push" is captivating, cunning and cool. This cat is on a mission to avenge his parents murders and make a name and money for himself in the real estate world. Set in Harlem NY. this story is one of revenge, sex, deceit, money, killers and users. Thoughout the book there is a rash of extremely strong characters some are made clear to us and some are hiding in the background only to jump out from the pages of this book to to surprise us! I especially enjoyed the effect Asondra had on Fred she had this man's tongue hanging out of his mouth, I had a good laugh when these two characters were together. Relentless has left nothing to the Imagination every page is captivating, Intriguing and addictive.
I want more... Relentless... where is "Push 2"? This book is a movie deal waiting to happen?

5.0 out of 5 stars PUSH WAS INTENSE, March 9, 2004
This review is from: Push (Paperback)
This book was so intense that at times I had to put it down. It actually had my heart going pitter patter.Relentless gives us a fictionalized story with well researched facts. One reference I will give you from the book but then you have to buy your own. Relentess refers to the now Harlem as the Disney world of the ghetto. Just having shopped there last month this author is on target. There are plenty of other well researched topics as well. This book read like a movie it was just phenomenol. If you like my alltime favorite author Gloria Mallette, Then you will love Relentess. He has this way with his storyline that leaves you not wanting to pick up another book right away. Because you want to still remain on his ride. This was a wonderful book that was well written. I didn't catch any errors. Beautiful Job!!!!!!!! I know there better be a PUSH2 Because I am waiting.............

5.0 out of 5 stars THE BEST THAT I HAVE READ!!, February 11, 2004
This review is from: Push (Paperback)
This is an engaging novel about the underworld of betrayal, murders, thugs, killers, gangsters, big money, crooked politicians and erotic woman who serve them. It follows the ups and downs of Reginald "Push" Jackson; beginning when he was a teenager of 13 and had to care for his younger sister Crystal because of the violent death of their parents. "Push" struggles through the novel to be true to himself and those he loves. From the powerful foreword to the clever climax, you will not be able to close "PUSH"!

The book is very entertaining. "Push" brilliantly taps our realm of psyche, exposing our deepest vulnerabilities. This book will captivate your time & leave you guessing with every twist that leads you to its unexpected end.
