Pushmonkey is a great local band. They have been entertaining me for a long time. This release is an early one. I love the raw and unedited sound. Some of these songs have been remade, including new lyrics, for the Arista release, but this CD is so much better. It doesn't sound like there is much production going on but I dig the songs. The lyrics are weird, so if you can get over that, the music is great. Each song is my favorite on a different day, except for "Ordinary Cowboy" which is just a blurb of a song and a bizarre one at that. If you like hard rock, definitely check this one out.
