Daring Erotic Photography!,
This review is from: Pussy Portraits (Hardcover)
This is a unique collection of portraits, to say the least. On the left side of each page there is a portrait of a beautiful young woman. And on the right side, there is the the accompanying closeup photo of her exposed genitalia - in all it's fleshy pink glory. This is a bold presentation of images, that may initially be hard to understand or appreciate. But after flipping the through the pages for a while, one comes to appreciate the beautiful architecture of the labia, the labia minora, the clitoral hood and the clitoris, and the vagina itself. One cannot fail to recognize the striking variance, individuality, and beauty here; each "pussy" portrait is as unique and special as are the more standard portraits. This is a daring work that must be seen to be believed.

Amazing!,

This is an amazing book! Amazing because the photos are so close-up, crisp and beautiful and amazing because no one ever did this before. It's a simple but very effective concept: portraits of pretty young women and portraits of their "pussies". Maybe Frannie Adams is the only one who could do this. I looked at her website and she definitely specializes in erotic, close-up photography! frannieadams dot com. Maybe it took a female photographer to be able created these beautiful portraits.

Quite a Read (look),

I truly enjoyed my journey though this beautiful and erotic book! I was particularly taken by the confidence by which these women display their most private of features. Such a wide variety of vaginas! I had no idea. I anxiously await additional volumes from Frannie Adams!

I cannot recommend this book highly enough is this subject matter interests you. The juxtaposition of the pair of images is beautiful. I hope there is at least a third volume in the works.

Lots of beautiful photos of faces (on one page) and vulva (on the facing page), but without showing any other part of their bodies. Would be more interesting if at least their hips and their whole pelvic areas were also shown. Too many of them had the labia splayed open; an interesting view, but not the way you'd see them in vivo.

Public and private,

A woman's face is perhaps the most public part of her body, in most cultures. And, even where nudity is accepted, the inner folds of her vulva are the most private. This delightful book shatters that dichotomy. Each two-page spread presents one charming young lady. Verso: a closeup of her face, recto: her inner folds unfolded.
All the faces seem fresh and young, differing in all the details that give each woman her unique charm. The second photo, however, displays human variation at its most marvelous. Some petals unfold widely for the camera, others barely peep out from between the outer lips. Each fold, each opening, each shade of coloring presents a new way for the woman's uniqueness to express itself. Other books, like Petals and Femalia, also praise this most varied and personal expression of women's intimate beauty. Seeing her face side by side with her genitalia, however, adds a whole new dimension to appreciating her loveliness. Ms Adams: Beautifully done! -- wiredweird

I anxiously awaited the arrival of this book, but when I got it I Just felt kind of weird.
Don't get me wrong, I love the sight of a woman's genitals, but the whole "face on the left vulva on the right" thing was just not for me. I think I need the picture of the whole. Either way it delivers exactly what is expected, regardless.

Boring!,

Imagine a girl's face on the left page and on the right one is a picture of her feet or her breasts. No imagination here. This book might be popular to late elementary school kids when their hormones start to rage. Video porn is so much better.
