I read this book several years ago, then recently picked it back up and
re-read it. I had absolutely no idea who the killer was till the very
end. A famous poet has had a life filled with tragedy, but then, so has
her sister's daughter. After receiving a letter from said niece, the
aunt invites her to live with her and her new, much younger husband.
But trouble is afoot, and continues to plague the occupants of the
house. A murder here and there (no gory details, thank you very much!)
brings the sense of disquiet to a rolling boil. Many suspects abound,
but in the end, who will be unmasked as the real murderer? Wait till
you find out. I loved this book!
The author, Rae Foley, has written numerous books.There's a mystery,
as well as some light romance.
I love the Mr. Potter series, and have also read some of her other novels.
Unfortunately, Ms. Foley died, but she was such a prolific writer, there
is no worry of running out of reading material too soon. Check for a complete
