This is really a wonderful book! Especially if you like WWII books taking place on the British home front. The era is described in great detail, and the characters are believable. You feel that you are on a journey with them. At the end of the book, I felt sad to put the book down and say goodbuy to my new "friends".

Once again, nothing but praise for Maureen Lee's books. Loved the characters and how they interacted during a time of great stress. The plot flows and you can hardly put the book down.
