I am not a fan of Enya or downtempo female celtic vocalists, so Cate Le Bon does not sit that well with me. The artist has a good voice, and takes time to choose her material. If you like to relax to this type of music it's all good.

I really like Cate Le Bon. She has this playful tone to her music and this enchanting way of recalling early Parisian delight, and I just like that European influence. Her French music is simple yet simply inspired, in a way that blends nostalgia with modern influences well. Sadly, `Puts Me To Work' is just plain dull. The musicality is far too familiar, far too reserved. It feels flat in your eardrums, and her vocal work is just weakly transferred. It doesn't work like I wanted it to. The repetitive nature of the piano laden melody gets old and never once feels remotely inspired. I just think this was a lazy effort and that saddens me, because Cate Le Bon is one of those artists I get excited about hearing new stuff from.

I still like her, but this was a major disappointment.
