I play this cd in the day care center where I work. Naptime is very enjoyable when we have this cd in the player.
The kids love it and it isn't annoying to the adults who are listening to it, too!
Buy this! Micky has a great voice and uses it to sing the most beautiful songs! There are many Beatle tunes believe it or not!
Your children will love it and so will you!

Micky's tender renditions of well-known songs and some not-so-well-known songs are hauntingly beautiful. It really works for my three year old! She falls asleep every time! But her mom stays up to hear each song! Good quality recording; you'd think Micky was singing just to you!

Micky Dolenz as always does an excellent job. I happen to think Micky has one of the best voices around. I just wish he would do more solo albums. If your thinking about buying this one do it, you WILL NOT be disappointed.

I love this CD. I play it in my car when I want to relax and chill while driving. It really shows what a huge Beatles fan Micky is and his versions of their songs are wonderful. I especially love Beautiful Boy. My favorite song on the CD is St Judy's Comet. I had never heard it before and I just think it's a precious song. Micky's performance on the CD is excellent. I can't wait to play it and sing the songs for my grandchildren. (When I ever have any) Thanks for a great CD, Micky. I'm still a huge fan since 1966.

This is a wonderful album. I recomend this to anyone, no matter what age. I happen to listen to it every night while going to sleep. Micky has chosen classic songs. It's amazing to find that he was able to make them better.

I hope there is a volume 2 coming soon. It's been twenty years. To the contrary these songs do not put me to sleep. I actually get excited...I'm about to lose control and I think I like it. The voice is perfection like Jon Anderson. Too Bad those in the industry haven't exploited it more. I'm Selfish. I want more.
The song selection is just overwhelming. Beatles,Lennon,Nilsson,Neil Young,Paul Simon.Carole King..etc.
GoodNight,Blackbird,Mother Natures Son,Fool On The Hill,Porpoise Song,Remember,St.Judy's Comet.Sugarcandy Moutain(I always thought this one to be a bit jaded and subversive..drives me wild!). My second cousin Jake a real M&M/Postmaster P,Coolio,NWA fan will put this cd on late in the evening and listen to the whole thing. Bewildering I'd say, or the music and performance is just that good clear and clean. Major druggies in De-tox should listen to this one to get sensitized back into the reality/dream world. Music soothes the savage breast. Judy Collins also has fine children's cd's that turn me on ,too=Baby's Morning & Baby's Bedtime. Mickey's rivals them for the best. Kids Music for Grownups, do it again!Please!

20 some-odd years ago, I bought this on cassette (What's a cassette? Shut up, that's what) for my sister, who had just given birth to her daughter. It was one of those cassettes that always seemed to be on, and everyone always seemed to love. It made car trips more bearable than most other albums geared to kids at the time, I'll tell you that much for free. At some point, my sister lost the tape and I intended to replace it, but it was out of print. Now, so many years later (and with a daughter of my own), I have access to a well-done collection of sweet acoustic covers by a guy I grew up enjoying. Sure, it's kind of a toss-off, the sort of thing some artists do on a whim because they can, but it's a well-done toss-off. If I were you, I'd get it. Just trying to make your life better, is all.
