My son's daycare has the Putt Putt games and the kids love them so much that they end up in tears over who gets to play them for 5 minutes a turn. The game is very cute and simple; non-aggressive and lots of little actions that are amusing.

I got used copies of some of them on Amazon to use on my laptop at home that runs XP, which was supposed to run it (from what I read). However, there was no sound, even in compatibility mode, which was a big problem for this particular game.

After a lot of searching and experimenting I got it to work great using ScummVM (an open-source freeware app that you can find online.) If you're technically inclined it will be no problem to get that going. However, if you're not technically inclined but want to try, I wrote a step-by-step description of how I did it. (Just search Google under "doctorlizardo putt putt" and you'll find it). Hopes this helps another parent.

Fun for my grandson who is 4, also for older family members as we try to remember where items are and where they belong, he loves it.

My 7 yr. old granddaughter loves the Putt Putt games. I have them all and she enjoys every one of them. I even enjoy playing with her. Great games.

My 3 yr old loved the Pep's birthday surprise but the Going to the moon cd didn't work on my new laptop. Good game he can play by himself without much of my help. I don't have to push him to figure out the sequence, he figures most of it out on his own.
