It is a hard book to read because of the subject matter, but it is well worth it.

This book changed my life. Honestly. I gain a better understanding of life from a more spiritual perspective. My eyes were opened to the reality of evil, that it does exist, and it can be beaten.

Putting on the Armor of God is a book that will enlighted you. It is a hard book to read because of the subject matter, but it is well worth it. There are things in this book that will make you want to put it down because they are so blatantly true.

Too often we fear the truth and decide to live in our own little worlds trying to shelter ourselves from reality. This book delivers a huge dose of reality. If you are not ready for reality this book is not for you.

If you have the courage and desire to become a better person, you should read this book.

This book is amazing! I recommend it to anyone who has any kind of struggle in their life. It has given me a different perspective on things and studying it along with my scriptures has given me such strength in fighting this Huge battle we are fighting 24/7! I am so thankful to the author in his research and study and for his uplifting words and choosing to share this gift with the world.

This is the second copy I've purchased. I gave this one to a friend/family member. It's quite helpful and I continue to get it out to read for the very purpose it was written (so does my spouse). My own copy I recently loaned to a friend upon request. It's a good book and I think others may agree since it's still in print. Its purpose is to help a person recognize when Satan is discouraging you or trying to lure you off the path of good. It is very practical and can be thought of as a guidebook and provides very usable examples of how to combat bad thoughts. Definitely recommend.

My therapist recommended this book for me when I was going through a very difficult time in my life. This book really helped me better understand the nature of sin and temptation, and how to combat them! My favorite chapter is the one about how to recognize the lies Satan uses when he tempts us. It has been a lot easier for me to resist temptation since I've been able to recognize what the devil the Devil is doing.

Wonderfully creates an overall "large picture" view of life, where we are reminded to think about where we came from, why we are here, and where we are going...as well as who is trying to subvert us and how we can, by remaining awake and aware, foil any power over us that he might have when we are blind to an enemy that we often forget is there. It is a beautiful witness for Christ and His central role as our Savior and Redeemer, and how we can keep His power with us through the Holy Ghost. I can see how "Jeff" would feel somewhat betrayed, or at least totally surprised by it, if he didn't realize that it is written from an LDS perspective before buying it. That's too bad. However, his labeling of the Book of Mormon as the Mormon Bible is incorrect. Our Bible is the King James Version of the Holy Bible. We read and study both the Old Testament and the New Testament as much as we can. The Book of Mormon is subtitled "Another Testament of Jesus Christ." It in no way replaces our Bible. It is a companion volume, written by people in a whole different land. (Ancient Americas) The author uses references from the Bible as well as the Book of Mormon. Some people may be really interested to put to consideration what accompanying references have to say about this subject matter. It is such an enlightening, uplifting, motivating, empowering (through Christ, which strengtheneth me) book. (Though, yes, be aware that the writing and powerful testimonies of Jesus as our infinite Savior are taken from a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.)

I have taught Seminary, Sunday School and spoke Women's Conference and I have never seen a book that applied the scriptures to a serious problem better than this one. It's required reading for my teenage boys.
