About the Author

A native of Ireland, Joseph Murphy (1898 — 1981) was a prolific and widely admired New Thought minister and writer, best known for his motivational classic, The Power of Your Subconscious Mind, an international bestseller since it first blazed onto the self-help scene. His pamphlet How to Attract Money first appeared in 1955, and likewise entered many editions. Murphy wrote widely on the auto-suggestive and metaphysical faculties of the human mind and is considered one of the pioneering voices of affirmative-thinking philosophy.

This is a compilation of many excellent research and sermon ideas of Dr. Joseph Murphy, edited by Dr. Pell. The organization of the book into topics is excellent. The wisdom of Dr. Murphy is, as to be expected, metaphysical, psychological, Religious Science/Divine Science oriented. What I like most about Murphy's thoughts is the manner in which he draws valid and direct applications, helping anyone to work through all kinds of limitations or difficulties. If you give his approach even a passing glance, much less a serious try, you will find marvelous changes in mind, heart, spirit, and lifestyle are yours--sometimes immediately! The wisdom here far exceeds today's pop psychology Rx's.

I absolutely love this book. It is so uplifting and positive. It opened my eyes to new possibilities. I became very excited when I read this book as to the changes that I can make in my life. I've recommended it to many of my friends and coworkers. You can't go wrong with this book. I have the print edition and am going to purchase the ebook so I can have it with me always. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
