Book Description

Harlequin Blaze April 1, 2008

She did it! Sweetly shy Carly Abrams, programmer extraordinaire, cheated on the sex survey. This way, she's guaranteed to be paired up with infuriating (but no less delectable man-thing) coworker Matt Jacobs on a new account. If she's caught, she'll be neck-deep in pink slips. Unfortunately, working closely with Matt could land her in deeper--and much, much hotter--water....

Turns out Matt and Carly couldn't be more suited for each other...sexually. And when Matt discovers that Carly's cute exterior conceals thoughts lusty enough to make a porn star blush, he can barely keep himself from pulling her into an empty office, locking the door and putting the sex survey's results to the test...but good!

More About the Author

Lori Borrill started writing in June of 2004 after her husband left his job to pursue his dream of owning a business. Not only did the move help ease their hectic schedules, but he became a solid example that those dreams that seem impossible can often come true. She proved that point herself exactly two years later when Harlequin called to tell her she'd sold to their Blaze line.

An Oregon native, Lori moved to Northern California just out of high school and has been a transplant Californian ever since. Her weekdays are spent at the insurance company where's she's been employed as a data analyst for over twenty years. The bulk of her evenings are spent at the Little League fields cheering on her son.

4.0 out of 5 stars Sexy office romance puts coworkers to a real test, July 10, 2008

This review is from: Putting It To The Test (Harlequin Blaze) (Mass Market Paperback)
Programmer Carly Abrams is desperate to get on a new project design team at work. Only problem is that she has to cheat on a sex survey in order to get the spot. So be it. Unfortunately that means working with her rival -the infuriating, irritating and irresistibly lickable Matt Jacobs. The man who has rocketed to the top of their Web design and advertising firm and bumped her off to the side in the process. But now there is a new position up for grabs. And a huge promotion and salary raise to go with it. As they begin to work together things heat up. Here's where the real test comes in. When the project is over what are Carly and Matt going to choose a)love b)promotion/money c)neither of the above or d)all of the above?

Another good office romance from Blaze. I picked this one up because I enjoyed Borrill's previous book Private Confessions (Harlequin Blaze) so much. And I wasn't disappointed.

As a couple Carly and Matt fit perfectly together. His arrogant and me-first, all-by-myself attitude meshed well her shy but friendly people skills. Both have family issues and self-doubt that make trusting difficult. Two completely different personalities bent enough to realize that maybe they weren't so different after all. And they are definitely matched in the sex department (cause it isn't called Blaze for nothing)!

A really well paced story that adds enough spice and office antics to keep this Blaze reader hooked. So if your in the mood for an sexy office romance this is a good one.
