This is a wonderful Bible based guide to being forgiven, forgiving yourself, and forgiving others. Anybody who relates with someone else would benefit from reading this book. God gave us His great Word concealed in the Bible. This is a study, directly from God's Word, on dealing with the pain you have because of what you've done to yourself and others or what someone else has done to you.

I think this is a great life-changing book and is very easy to understand. The teachings are very to the point but in a comforting way. This book gives you hope when you are at the end of your rope and provides a great way to look at life and shows how to change your life. One book reviewer stated this is a religious book and look around at a world that is full of people trying to do everything by theirselves and what a mess they are making and maybe a religious book is not such a bad thing to read and apply. I think this a wonderful book.

This book really deals with some probing issues form a "sin" perspective instead of a "disease" perspective. I found it comforting, stinging and helpful. This book deals with your past the way God meant it to be dealt with: by the power of the cross.

This is simply, one of the best books on forgiveness and dealing with past hurts. Reinforcing the knowledge that God is good and all things work together for good to those who love the Lord. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is struggling with abuses from their past.

I picked this up per a recommendation of a pastor and found it to be an excellent resource.

I have read Mr. Lutzer's books for a long time; his books point to the Lord and His Word, to help and guide you on your path to being healed and get well. He does NOT give you a list of 10 things to do, to fix things, or yourself.
