I was first introduced to grid-logic puzzles through the Puzzle Society's Pocket Posh series. The questions were challenging, every clue had one or two facts contained in them, with some intuitive guesses necessary to solve the puzzle. This book however seems like it is written for those who want to solve the puzzle quickly rather than methodically. Some of the facts given are provided twice through the process, which makes you wonder why they told you the same thing twice. The authors also have not taken the time to tell you a story, instead they take three disparate facts, and that you have to solve. For example, name, type of camera owned & favorite candy bar. What do those have in common? The authors are also big on "of the five choices, one is this, another is that, etc." I find this kind of writing lazy in a logic puzzle. When I work logic puzzles, I want to feel like Poirot solving a mystery through the process of elimination, not a waitress trying to serve a drink order.

However, if you are looking for a logic puzzle book where time is of the essence, this is the book for you.

Great book. The puzzles start off easy and then get more challenging. I only like the kind of logic puzzles that the puzzle baron puts out, and this book delivered hours of fun. The only drawback is that the pages are a little too small...making the box/grid really small.
I would buy something from this company again.

Purchased for my wife who enjoys the grid style logic puzzles, all the logic books in book stores are a mashup of different logic style problems, this book however, pages and pages of logic problems in the grid style and she loves it.

The only complaint is they all have the same amount of parts, nothing more, nothing less, she'd love to sink her brain into something with a lot more choices and options.

I love having a book of Logic Puzzles only....no other types of puzzles, crosswords, sudoku, anagrams, etc. I LOVE LOGIC PUZZLES!

My husband has had a lot of fun doing the puzzles in these books. I will be looking to purchase more at a later time.
