Match 3 games are my favorite pc games and The Rise of Atlantis is one of my favorite. In addition you get Cradle of Rome and Galapago which are great match 3 games also. I would highly recommend this cd to anyone who likes match 3 games.

Fun and challenging but have not yet played all the games. Being timed does get frustrating a bit.

I bought this package for one particular game: Cradle of Rome. I love match-3 puzzle games and wanted to own at last one of the many match-3 games that are out there. I tried out a number of demo version for a variety of games, but this one rose to the top of my list as my favorite. That said, it is very similar to other games of this type, such as Jewel Quest or the Big Kahuna Reef, so you may prefer another style/story. The principle of these games is to match at least three items in a row by swapping out adjacent items.
Cradle of Rome has attractive graphics and music which makes it very relaxing to play. This game is also very, very long - which for a puzzle addict like me is a good thing! As the saying goes: Rome wasn't built in a day. True to that statement, you'll need more than a day to play through it properly. The layouts become progressively more challenging, but you can earn special power-ups with bonus items. In the later levels, you probably find yourself depending on these power-ups to get all the tiles cleared before time runs out. The other two games that come in this package, The Rise of Atlantis and Galapago, were pleasant bonus games based on the same match-3 principle. I've played through Rise of Atlantis once and found it fairly easy. I was pleasantly surprised that after you complete it, it just keeps going with another, more challenging round. I also occasionally play Galapago but find it a bit annoying compared to the other two games. I could imagine it might be a favorite with kids though. Overall, it's a great value package of games if you're into match-3 puzzles. One difficulty I ran into was that it wouldn't install properly on my parents' computer, but that might have been a problem with that particular computer rather than the CD. It has installed just fine on my own computer under both Windows XP and Windows 7. My only other nag is that I don't like using the Puzzle Odyssey interface and prefer using direct shortcuts to the individual games.

The price was obviously great. I bought this game as a gift for a puzzle-loving friend and she loved it. Can't say anything negative about the purchase.

I received this game with another one. I have yet been able to get this one to work properly. It does not open. So I play the other one. I really can't rate it because I have yet to get it to work.
