About the Author
Dr. Clifton K. Meador was born in Alabama and attended Vanderbilt School of Medicine in Nashville. During his long and varied medical career, Dr. Meador directed the N.I.H. Clinical Research Center in Alabama, served as dean of the School of Medicine at the University of Alabama in Birmingham, and was a Professor of Medicine at Vanderbilt University. He is currently the Executive Director of the Meharry Vanderbilt Alliance. Puzzling Symptoms is Dr. Meador's eleventh book.
