This review is from: Pyle Home MAF70BK Tilt Wall Mount for 23" to 37" Displays (Black) (Electronics)
I had no problem installing the mount. The instructions said it must be mounted on a pair of studs, not a single stud, but that was not possible in my situation. On only a single stud, it is very strong, with two 5/16" bolts holding it instead of four. (I assume the instructions were written by attorneys). Placing the screws in the exact center of the mount simply requires that you unscrew and discard the little built-in level. There is plenty of room for adjustment in height, both before and after the mount is bolted to the wall. Although there is up to 15 degrees of tilt, about half of that is appropriate for a typical viewing distance of 10 feet away on a bed or chair. At that angle, a 32 inch TV with a perfectly flat back side sticks out from the wall 2-1/4 inches on the bottom and 4-1/4 inches on the top side. I thought the photo on Amazon made the mount look bulky, but I was not disappointed when I installed it. My only caveat is because of the hooks that mount on the TV and slide over the horizontal bars you need about 4 inches of clearance on the top. In other words if you want the top of the TV to be 74 inches above the floor, a bookshelf above the TV should be at least 78 inches above the floor. I think the Sanus tilting mount might be about 3/4 of an inch closer to the wall that this RCA one, judging from the Sanus schematics, but it is much more expensive. In my case I have bookshelves on both sides so a slight difference is mounting distance didn't matter. There is also a clip on each side that locks the TV in place in case of earthquakes; the clips also accept a padlock to prevent theft. The clips can be moved out of position if the TV needs to be removed from the mount. The package includes several sizes and lengths of screws and spacers for TV's with different rear contours. A lot of the screws and spacers end up unused.
