I noticed that when I was shopping around online for a decent AM-FM Reciever, I didn't see much feedback for this amp from PylePro, so I felt an obligation to give my opinion.

I found several online stores that feature this amp for a pretty wide range of prices. Amazon is your best bet (at least when I bought it) for about $190. I didn't know what to expect because it seemed like I was getting a lot of bells and whistles for a prettly low price. BUT ... THIS THING IS POWERFUL. I work at a water park and I had to install a sound system that could play music which had to be heard over several noisy waterfalls and water jets (not to mention all the other ambient noise from outdoors). All I had was two Sony 150watt tower speakers. These aren't massive speakers, but they can handle a solid 150 watts each. I have never heard these things sound so clean at the volume I am pushing them with this amp and they actually get TOO loud for the water park. I mean you can hear the ECHO bouncing off the walls of buildings clear on the OTHER SIDE of the waterfalls and water jets.

A small critique would be that although I am not an expert on how companies measure the output wattage of their amplifiers, I have been buying amps for a long time and you DO get what you pay for so don't expect 3000watts. They might as well have put 3000000watts. At some point it starts getting rediculous to think that people are going to believe they are buying a legit 3000watt amp for $190. That is the only thing that is a little tacky about Pyle. Don't get me wrong, I feel that I got MORE than what I paid for and I certainly put this amp in the category of amazing sound for an amazing price.

The sound quality was horrible, yet it BLEW one of my "older" speakers immediately. It has a FAN that ran ALL the time, loudly !

The remote would NOT turn the unit ON or OFF !!

strong amp. enough strength to drive my older less efficient speakers. The fan is noisy and it needs some mid range control. Also the Ipod dock is seated low making access to the ipod control wheel slightly difficult. I recommend it, its great price for a good amp.

This system only worked twice. I checked it as soon as I got it and it worked fine with no complaints. I did not use it again until the weather cleared up a month or so after I bought it because it was meant for an outdoor speaker system. Once I had everything hooked up the receiver worked for about six hours and then just stopped. The next day I tried to turn it on again and it shot sparks out the back and began to smoke. When I tried to speak with the sellers (ShopCell) they would not budge on their 30 day "No Return Policy". Now I have to jump through hoops and send it back to Pyle, whose customer service is also lacking, unprofessional, and inconvenient. I would definitely pass on this and buy a better name brand. I knew this deal looked to good to be true and it was.

Like the price and the small(ish) case (not as large as other HT systems). Powers two Cerwin Vega VE-15s with a Tuba sub, and it works well.
Not enjoying the loud fan noise when the bass gets heavy. Took me a while to figure out what the "wherrr-ing" noise was, even at high volume.
The illuminated display is extremely bright....too bright. You can turn off the button lights, but not the display. Not good if you want a 'dark' room.

I love it, is excellent equipment for this price. Is a complete music equipment excellent sound and performance, simply is a great deal.

First the ipod dock input sounds terrible compared to the rca input!
treble and bass adjustments distort the music so much it sounds terrible!
Power is no where close to claimed rating!
I would say 200w rms per channel @ 4 ohms!
First day of using mine, started smoking and i think blew both fuses because it doesn't work anymore.
I had 2 200w rms 3 way speakers on one channel and a alpine 12in sub hooked up on other channel. all 3 were 4 ohm speakers. when bass hit it took almost all the highs away.
Am returning, hopefully for a full refund.
