These are really good speakers for the money. I used a Pro Audio 1100 amp and a IMAXX D.J. ipod dock for my drummer son's talent show in front of 600 people.The ipod dock worked very well with lots of usable features.The volume on 5 was a good solid sound. They handled bass very well.The grills are thin but shouldn't ever be a problem.Glad I found these. As always dealing with Amazon has always been a pleasure. Shipping was very fast and packaged well.

I RECIEVED THIS ITEM AND TESTED FOR FIRST TIME LAST NIGHT, THESE SPEAKERS HAVE AMAZING SOUND, ONLY THING I HAD ISSUES WITH, IS WHEN YOU HIT REAL DEEP, IT HAS A SLIGHT RATTLE, BUT, VERY WELL WORTH THE MONEY, I WILL BE PURCHASING MORE

I PURCHASED THIS ITEM AND IT STATES A (5-WAY PADH1289) BUT NO ITS A (2 WAY MODEL PADH1279). BUT GOT THAT SQUARED OF WITH SELLER.... THIS MODEL 2-WAY PADH1279 WORKS GREAT HAS A GREAT BASS AND GOOD SOUND. USING A PYLE 3000WAT PRE-AMP HYBIRD PWMA3003T. MAKES THEM ROCK GREAT FOR A HOUSE PARTY WIHT VERY LITTLE EXPENSE. WE HAVE FAMILY GET TOGETHERS AND SPEAKERS JUST POUND REALLY GOOD JUST RUNNING MUSIC FROM LAPTOP THROUGHT THE AMP AND SPEAKERS MAKE THE PARTY GO GRILLS GETS DENTED EASILY BUT EASY TO FIX BACK..NOT EXTREMELY BIG BUT REAL STEADY AND LOOKS DURABLE.
