Had been looking at these speakers for several weeks and could not pass up the deal on Amazon. Paid $81 each and shipping was free. Hard to go wrong at that price. Was a little hesitant though, as I could not find many reviews on these. When I set them up with my Yamaha DJ equipment, they did add more base but was not totally pleased. Then I read about adding an Aphex Aural Exciter with Big Bottom. Found a good deal on a used one and when I hooked it up to my system with the subwoofers, they REALLY came to life and now sound more like subwoofers that cost hundred's of dollars more. If you buy these and are not totally pleased, try adding the Aphex Aural Exciter with Big Bottom, and I think you will be very pleased.

I took a chance and bought two of these, thinking that at the price I should keep my expectations low. When I hooked them up to my QSC, dialed in a little bit of low-end eq, and set the crossover at 75HZ, I was amazed; no, dumbfounded that such a low-priced sub could sound so good. I have the two of them hooked in parallel for a 4-ohm load, driven by a bridged-mono RMX1450, so each one is getting 700 watts, and they handle it quite gracefully. Of course, being that they are 15's, I would not hit them with much below 45Hz, but with the right EQ and crossover settings, they perform beautifully. I would highly recommend these subs to any DJ or band playing to 600 people or less.

I bought a pair of Pyle Pro speakers a few years ago. When arrived one of the speakers were was just hanging in the hole. I sent it back and received a new one and everything was great. Since then I had to sell them. And now I was looking for new speakers and I saw these 15" Pyle Pros and I thought great I know these speakers so I bought two of them 3/2011. Got them the next day through Amazons one day service. But the good news stops there. One of the two speakers worked and the other was damaged and did not work. so I boxed it back up and sent it back to Amazon ( I had to wait for them to get them back in stock) I ordered another one and when it arrived guess what it didn't work The magnet came off the back of the speaker...WOW... So I boxed up that one to send back. In the meantime I turned on my PA for Band Practice and in around five minutes the first speaker that worked stopped working. So now I have sent all the speakers back. All I can say is they used to have great speakers..I don't know if they had a bad batch and I got them all or if Pyle Pro has just dropped the ball........I hate to leave a bad review but I think they deserve one....Pyle Pro lets just say Pile !!!!!

I have been running a pair of these with Pyle PTA 1000 amps and they sound great. Provide enough oooomph for what I am doing which includes playing music at friend's parties and backyard theater. Surround sound in your back yard with 5,000 watts (2 PTA 1000's and a 3000 watt mixer amp) really kicks ass. These units are lightweight and easy to carry around. The build quality is sturdy. Flexible hook ups too. Great buy especially at this price.

hello, i recently bought this item (12-29-09) and it arrived quick, but the major problem was that it had something loose inside and the woofer sounded very low, it turn out that a part of the crossover was broken and the woofer was blown. so please be caustious when you order the item, other than that the cabinet is nice looking (i replaced the speaker) and it sounds GREAT not too large nor to little

If you're looking to lighten your PA system but still have plenty of bottom, this is a great choice. Size and weight can't be beat at this price anywhere. These subs work very well and sound very good. The only negative, and a small one, is that they are not as efficient as the higher priced units, so you should make sure your amp has enough power. Nowadays that is not a big issue because of the availability of low-cost high-power amps. These subs have built-in crossovers, but will sound better if you use a passive crossover in front of your amp. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and wish I could get more at the price I paid.

These speakers work great in our pub. We were looking for speakers to leave set up for tuesday karaoke and weekend bands. Bands generally break down equipment sunday morning and that's really a hassle after a late night saturday. This way the equipment is up for announcements and such. The speakers sound good, we have a old receiver but a new 1200 Watt amp that sufficently power the set. What we ordered showed up and works perfectly fine, i can't think of a reason not to recommend them.

Pyle PASW15 Stage SpeakersThese speakers have a cross over network already installed in them. The cross over works great! These speakers can handle a TON OF POWER! They do get the job done! They are light and easy to transport. For the price, they are a GREAT-BARGIN & VALUE!

To run these speakers effectivly, you need at least a Thousand Watt Amp with head room. I ran them in a large school gym using a QSC-3200. They sounded excellent. I set the QSC into mono mode. I ran a pair of "JBL MR-15's" in series with the left channel and a pair of these speakers in the right channel in series. It sounded fantastic. ROCKING BASS FILLED THE ROOM! I suggest you only purchase these speakers if you plan on using them for a stationary set up, that you don't plan on breaking down more than a few times a year. I can't imagine these speakers handling the riggers of the road. The input jacks in the back are not very well made. The Pyle Company has made an above average sub woofer speaker here, that does not need an external cross over network. I like them for the price.

I am part of a non-for profit organization that helps to feed the homeless. We needed a heavy duty speaker for fundraising events, and chose this speaker by pyle. The speaker cabinet is built strong and withstood several trips, and multiple events. The speaker works at a very good volume level indoors and has enough power to draw a crowd together outdoors. Working on a limited budget, price was a consideration, nice bargain.

I had ordered 2 of these to add to a DJ setup and I do realize that they are cheap and all, but when I went to test them, one sounds great and the second one sounds like trash! It sounds like the woofer has "popped" and will need replaced.
