I bought these as a temporary solution for my new flat panel plasma monitor. The monitor provides stereo output at 9W@6ohms per channel. My final intent is to eventually get a complete surround sound setup. Until then, these speakers sound better than any built-in speakers on any tv that I've ever owned.

I don't know if they can be beat for the price.

Bare bones but adequate and compact replacement for much larger speakers, hooked to a tuner used primarily for listening to FM radio. Lacking in "room vibrating" bass, but a very economical space-saver.

BARE WIRE CONNECTORS; would typically require adapter connectors, soldering, etc., for use as computer speakers.

These speakers were well worth the money. I installed them on my 5.1 surround system and they work perfectly.

I bought this pair because my young daughter grabbed a speaker off the mantel and dropped it breaking the cone of the Bose speaker. I started researching replacements for the broken Bose speaker and found the prices of one replacement speaker to be ridiculously expensive. I found this pair and thought what the heck for the price I will give it a shot before I break the bank on one tiny speaker. This pair sounds better than Bose for sure. I compared them side by side and found that the Pyle had a better sound. I now believe Bose is all hype. Don't believe all the hype and the Haters of good cheap sound quality. This is a great speaker set with unbelievable sound out of a tiny cube. If you wanna waste a ton of money to impress your friends by saying you have a Bose go right ahead but I am now a Pyle fan.

We just got a 42" plasma tv, and as we all know, the speakers on these TVs aren't very good. I have a high end stereo (not home theater) and can play the TV sound through the stereo speakers, but my big speakers are made more for music, not dialog. I got these Pyle speakers to use as an "inbetween" solution. I hooked them up as the "B" speakers on the stereo and they do a very admirable job. MUCH better than the TV speakers. When we want to just relax with a show, we turn on just the B speakers, when we're watching something that needs big sound, we turn on the big speakers as well for nice full sound. Eventually we'll get an AV tuner as well, and use these little speakers for center speakers. Not a lot of bass response, so don't expect that, but miles better than the built in TV speakers.

I use these in conjunction with a subwoofer. Due to their size they are not capable of hitting the bass notes. They do provide a crisp clean sound at the mid to high range.

I used these to replace the broken speakers on my PC subwoofer system. They sounded a little different, but they were still nice. the original speakers had a little more high range I think. but they had a tweeter, these do not. These speakers are weighty for their size and have some heft to them as well which really does affect the sound quality.

i bought these for my recording studio as "auratones" - small speakers with no bottom end to test how mixes sound in less than ideal situations. they don't sound "nice", merely ok, but that's why i bought them. no bottom end (these isn't supposed to be any), strong mids and highs. a friend has a pair and says that if a sub is added, they sound quite nice.

I hooked these up and was amazed at the sound from these small speakers. I am using them to listen to retro formats such as vinyl. Amazing sound and great value.
