I used four of these for sound in a clinic setting. The were simple to install, and sound great. They are used for low background classical music, but even when turned up they sound great. They are also $15 cheaper than the cheapest Radio Shack speaker, which doesn't come with the mount.

So I paid about fifteen bucks for these and I bought five of them. For the money, you can't beat the deal. They are a great deal and were very easy to install. The only issue is that they don't push completely up into the ceiling because of the tab that holds the speakers into the backer. They are not (unless I did something wrong) completely flush mount but they are very close.

For $16, I wasn't expecting much. So I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of these speakers. These are not super audiophile speakers but give a perfectly acceptable sound for the price. There is a lot of bass, and plenty of treble.

I used two of these and a Dual radio-only car radio in my bathroom. For a total of about $75, I don't have a shower radio falling on the floor and constantly needing batteries. Plus, while plastic speakers might normally be a negative, in the bathroom they can't rust.

While not for a media room, I would recommend these speakers for anywhere you want music and don't want to take up space or spend a lot of money.

I put 6 of these in 3 different rooms of my house. They were easy to install and the sound is pretty good for cheap speakers. Not a lot of bass, but I was not expecting much - it does the job I wanted to have some music around the house.

This speaker system was what I was kind of system that I was looking for but the caliber of speaker wasn't the same as that I needed for my application. The amount of money that one spends on a speaker does make a significant difference in the quality in sound form the components that make up a sound system. Unfortunately the least expensive speakers today are only suited for background "noise" such as paging, etc.. What I was looking for was an audiophile grade in ceiling speaker with a closed back that would deliver a wider range of sound to complete my surround sound system and the PYLE Home PDICS6 speakers couldn't handle that requirement. I was glad to receive them shipped as quickly as they were and the return process was taken care of in a timely manner, as well. I recommend anyone out there who's looking for a speaker system to save and spend a little more for the speaker system that they are searching for because the price does make a big difference in sound.

I'm using two of these on the patio right outside the main living room to extend the indoor stereo sound. The sound is nothing terribly impressive but it's OK with the better indoor speakers playing next to them. Fine for the low price, though.

you get what you pay for. works for my install in a small convenience store, which doesnt need audiophile quality. lacking on the low end, which was expected.

When I opened the box that read "Contents: One Pair", I found only one (1) speaker. :(
The product description page also read (pair), which is why I ordered these speakers.
The wording on the web page and product box is misleading and untrue.
