At first I was hesitant to order these speakers because I wasn't sure if under $200.00/pair speakers would provide me good enough sound. I was looking at JBL floor standing but after I saw the specs and read a review on one of the on-line audio magazine for these speakers, I decided to give them a try. The speakers arrived promptly and after hooking them up as my front speakers in my 7.1 surround system, I was amazed at the sound they produced. I also like the fact that you can choose to use or disconnect the built-in sub woofers these speakers have. Very nice mid and high and very close to accurate re-production of music with these speakers. In fact these sound better than my Infinity speakers. I also recommended these to all my friends and family.

I looked into many sets of tower speakers in my search for the right pair for me. I had a low budget for the system so I was looking for something cheap but I didn't want something that'd sound bad. The other speakers I saw the most of in the price range were low end Polk towers. I know they sound okay and they are fairly cheap but I was excited to see that these speakers had an 8" sub on the side. This along with the internal crossover allows the frequencies to be split into a 3 way system. This creates a clearer sound. I've had the speakers for a little while now and I'm pleased. They are nothing special but they sound pretty good. This is not audiophile status I guess is what I'm saying. If you aren't looking for premium sound these are good speakers. One criticism I have is the quality build of the speaker. The finish is a cheap laminate. It looks pretty good but I know that it'll eventually peel off and look terrible. Another thing thats really not a big deal is the speaker shields are made terribly. When I was taking one off the sub-woofer on the side it literally crumbled. They are made of extremely cheap particle board. This didn't matter to me though because I like the look of the bare speakers anyway.

Overall these are a good buy for someone not looking for premium sound. They sound good. Part of the reason they are cheaper is because the cabinets are made cheaply. This allows them to sell better speakers for a lower price.

I buy this pair of speakers they are a very good pair of speakers they really sound great for the price dont pass this up or you well be missing out. i would buy thoes speakers agian. I got thoes speakers for $239.00 for the pair.

The bass is not powerful, but I have another woofer. If you have an extra woofer or don't mind low bass, the speakers highs are acceptable.

I was real shaky on buying a pair of house speaker for my theater room made by a brand that I used in my car years ago. Let me tell you, the quality is still there. I could not believe the sound out of these speakers for the price. The highs are brite, the mids are clear and the subwoofer is strong! I can't put in words how these speakers performed. Since I use a Valadyne sub, the connections on the back made it real easy for me to disconect the sub alowing only the mids and tweeters to play. This is a must buy, don't let this set pass you buy. They're also not bad looking as well.
